Maple Knoll Village is truly a great place to work. Despite the challenges many companies faced during the pandemic, not one Maple Knoll Community employee was laid off. Everyone chipped in and helped in whatever way they could even if it was for a different department. Management was really good about keeping employees informed about any changes in precautions and vaccine updates.

Do not misinterpret the country club look and high ticket price for high quality of service. Maple Knoll is desperately in need of an overhaul of its administration, who are unprofessional and inefficient, not to mention grossly lacking in compassion and communication skills. While an occasional staff member is helpful and kind, this organization is priced way too high for what it offers. As a result, my experience of my mother's final months was dreadful.

Staff short handed and over worked especially when it comes to STNA. There are many times theres 2-3 aides to a floor of 40+ residents. Place refuses to have hire Agency replacing their huge overturn. LpN Nurses lack real experience. The first thing they do in emergency of resident is grab blood pressure machine and call for a supervision.

My Mother is a resident and she had worked at a private nursing home for many years as Nurse Aide and LPN during her career. We her children knew what to expect of a Nursing Home. She filled us in, explained the workings, gave us instructions and told us what to do.
I believe MKV is doing their best during this Covid19 Crisis and our family works with them in the care of our Beloved Mother. Prayerfully family visits will resume soon as Family Connections are most important whether we are the patient or the extended family. Visit Your Loved Ones Often - that is key.

My mom was there for almost 2 years we moved her there from another home that did not treat her good. From the very first day the employees were great took the best care of her. We lost her on 4/6/2016 they were there for any help i needed as well. This is the best place i have ever seen and they are amazing.

My dad was very happy at MKV. He had friends, old and new, participated in many activities week in and week out, and when Mercy Fairfield failed to admit him when he needed hospitalization, Bodman was there for him. Many of the staff are simply superb. They took a genuine interest in him, even when he was difficult. Not long before his passing, Dad said to me, "I hope someday you and your brother can live in Maple Knoll. I love it here." I always took comfort in knowing there were people there who would take care of him if for any reason I couldn't get there right away.
