I'm so glad our family chose Traditions of Camargo for my grandmother, it's elegant but not stuffy (which is how other places in the area felt). When we first toured almost a year ago now(before Covid) we had the opportunity to talk to several managers. We asked every question possible and liked what we heard, although you never know how things will truly translate into real life. We have had an excellent experience at Traditions so far! My grandma moved in during the pandemic, and everyone has been so helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned about the health and wellbeing of not only the residents but also of each other. Maria at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly. And the staff that stops by the room while I'm taking care of my grandma each know her name, smile, greet her directly and speak loud enough so she can hear them. And the place is new! Beautiful brand new facility in the heart of Madeira. Unfortunately they where not prepared to open. They have an inadequate staff hired that come an go before you can even get to know them. Memory care is simply just an assisted living space. None of the aides trained in memory care, altzhteimer or dementia. Most don't even know what that means. They say they offer a BBT memory program for there residence but the room for it is empty. The residence boxes are empty. It has never been used for my parent. The staff are full of excuses for the terrible care. They are quick to fire a staff member
