Services
Our partnership with the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm has allowed Carmel Manor to provide the highest quality staff and services. We strive to uphold our long tradition of caring for the physical, spiritual, and intellectual needs of the whole person.
As more and more seniors are staying active longer and planning to stay active for years to come, Carmel Manor is now offering a short-term rehabilitation specialty to enhance our residents' quality of life. With a full team of physical therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Speech Therapists, we will work to renew our residents' energy, strength and abilities.

Quality of Life and quality of care go hand-in-hand at our community, where our skilled nursing and long-term care services deliver holistic care with respect for an individual's unique needs. Our Nursing Care wing is for residents who need long term care - specifically, skilled nursing care that includes assistance with most daily activities, such as bathing, getting dressed, eating, or getting in and out of bed.
Our Personal Care residents aren't able to live on their own anymore, but they don't need comprehensive nursing care. By living in the Personal Care unit, these residents benefit from the security of 24-hour nursing care, three nutritious meals a day, supervision of medications, planned activities and socialization with other residents.
Our community is known for providing exceptional care. Our professional and dedicated staff provides occupational, physical and speech therapy on a daily full-time basis. Treatment programs are designed to meet the physical and emotional goals necessary for residents to reach their optimum levels of functioning.

Carmel Manor is a beautiful, peaceful place located on the banks of the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky. It is a wonderful place to work and one of the best places in our area for your loved one when the time comes that they would need to transition to a Personal Care Unit, Skilled Care Nursing or a Memory Care Unit. We have a supportive and caring Management Team that will assist you in developing your skills and encourage you each step of the way...and the Residents make every day special!

The Carmelite Sisters' home is heads over every other place around, especially since they take Medicare and Medicaid patients as well as those on private insurance or pay. The home is clean, the staff professional, and the Catholic sisters make certain every resident receives wonderful care, or else.
I'd want to be here myself if needed.

I'm very disappointed in this place especially as a social worker. In recent months she's been falling almost every month if not week. My grandma is very stubborn so for awhile I blamed her for not asking for help but then recently I was disturbed by what I was hearing. Now she's in a wheel chair and she has Alzheimer's. I found out that at one point they took her to a bathroom and just left her there! And at this point she can't get up on her own! It sickened me to hear this. Her falls have been so severe lately. One severely bruised her eyes and the recent one cracked her skull! Where are these

The sisters, nurses and caregivers all were angels. They preserved my mother's dignity and loved her like their own. Until she became bedridden with Alzheimer's she was up and dressed every day. She was always called by name with love and she was given all the attention we could ask for. It is worth paying more to give your mom or dad this kind of home.
