Meet Dr. McDonough Report

Dr. McDonough was raised in New Jersey on the "Jersey Shore" and attended college at Cornell University before completing medical school at New Jersey Medical School. After meeting his future wife, a Texas native, Dr. McDonough moved to Dallas where he completed his internship and residency training at the UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Great experience, he’s a wonderful dermatologist with excellent staff. I came in to have removal of cyst and he walked through the steps of the procedure letting me know what was happening and made sure I was comfortable. If your looking for a dermatologist I would definitely recommend him.

His staff is so incompetent and Dr. Patrick McDonough accepts the bad service they provide to his clients. I called over a month in advance to cancel my appointment and they did not do so. I kept getting various forms of communication reminding me that I have an appointment - If you can't do something as easy as canceling my appointment, why should I trust you with my medical care?

Cancelled my appointment less than 24 hours before I was scheduled. WTAF! That was after I confirmed the appointment through zocdoc, and text. I took a day off work for that appointment!

Not a good experience. Dr. McDonough saw me in a rush. We didn't even sit down. He was fast, which isn't always a good thing. He didn't seem to be patient enough to explain to me how the prescription works. I'm taking my business elsewhere. The staff was cool though.

I am very impressed and pleased with my first visit to this dermatologist! Dr. McDonough was very professional, thorough in my exam, communicated well, and was very pleasant. The office staff were quite nice and professional also. I would definitely recommend this dermatology practice!

In and out in under 3 minutes. Completely disregarded what I said was happening and misdiagnosed me. Had to go somewhere else for a doctor that actually paid attention.

I went for acne concerns and my experience was great! Dr. McDonough was super polite and thorough he answered all of my questions. I will definitely return to his practice and use him as my dermatologist from now on! The office smelled and looked great as well!

Super late review but he deserves it! went to have a keloid removed thought it would be a consultation first and we would schedule at a later time but not here not here. He took a look and stat we can remove it today and literally removed it within 30mins. any other doctor wanted to get lab work and schedule to have it done a later day. I WILL ALWAYS COME HERE 10 out of 10 will come again and again.

Quick appointment, no usual waiting to see the doctor like most specialists. He was friendly, asked lots of questions, gave me several options. Overall a fantastic Doctor.

Went in to get a pilar cyst removed, Doc was super quick, professional and a nice dude. I will definitely be back in the future if needed. Also price was very affordable without insurance👌🏻
