Menter Dermatology Research Institute was established to address the ongoing need for new, clinically safe and effective treatments for physically and psychologically debilitating skin diseases. Menter Dermatology Research Institute (MDRI) was established in 2011. Dr Menter has participated in numerous dermatologic clinical trials over the past 35 years.
His research staff has more than 50 years of combined dermatological research experience. A focus for MDRI is to provide a path for patients to gain access to medication who might not otherwise be able to, and to allow both patient and staff the opportunity to contribute to the advance of medical knowledge and treatments.

Born in England and raised in South Africa, Dr. Menter is a graduate of The University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Zaayman was born in Pretoria, South Africa where he grew up and completed high school. He is bilingual, being fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

Although we have a significant and long-standing interest in psoriasis research and treatment, we are pleased to be offering clinical studies for a wide range of both rare and common skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, pemphigus, and skin cancers.

August marks the start of National Psoriasis Awareness Month, a time where we can shine a light on psoriasis, its symptoms, treatments and support those who experience any of its manifestations. Congratulations and thank you so much for your amazingly hard work over the last 18-years Xochitl! This is a tremendous milestone, having spent a combined 18-years at TDA and MDRI.

I have been a part of a clinical trial with MDRI for almost 2 years now. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm while still maintaining a professional and clean office/clinic. The work they are doing is great and they are very methodical and meticulous. I am so appreciative for what they have been able to do for my skin/psoriasis.

Went there for a skin problem. Made the problem so bad. Now found a doctor that knows dermatology. Getting rapid results. My recommendation for Mentor group, is if you don't understand the problem don't waste time find someone that may understand it better and refer or admit the truth and let the patient find another doctor. Time is valuable.
