Our dedicated medical professionals, Dr. Daneeque Woolfolk, MD, FAAD, as well as our physician assistants Erin Russell, PA-C and Jamil Waters, PA-C offer complete dermatological care for skin, hair, and nail concerns. We are committed to excellence in skin care through diagnosis, effective treatment, and comprehensive education to achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin.
We understand there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or other obligations. However, due to our high patient demand and limited availability of appointments, we have a cancellation fee. If an appointment is not cancelled in advance 24 hours (regular appointments) and 48 hours (cosmetic and surgical appointments), you will be charged a fifty dollar ($50) fee that is NOT covered by insurance.

I have always had a great experience. I am so excited to be returning back (insurance issues). I am rating 4/5 because I am going to be trying the added on Esthetician services and getting laser for my hyperpigmentation. I will be sure to return to update my review once both have been completed in a few months.

I started going to Dr.Blackburn since I was a teenager. Ofcourse with their regimen I didn’t need to come in as often as my acne cleared up thanks to them. Now I’m an adult and just had my first pregnancy where I began to get the mask of pregnancy. During my visit was my first time meeting Dr.Blackburn’s daughter Dr.Woolfolk and felt immediately the same hospitality and humility. I will always come here as long as their up and running as long as the business stays within the family .

I have growing concerns about the professionalism of Blackburn Woolfolk medical community. With each visit, the unconcerned and or critical-judgment of the staff seems to saturate the environment and experience. There lack of respect for time management when overbooking creates astounding delays in service. It would afford them understanding and consideration if a reprieve (financially or in other ways) would be extended to the patient for these repeated concerns. Of course, they do not hesitate to charge ridiculous fees if the patient “no shows,” which is actually understandable; however,

I received excellent care from Dr. Woolfolk. She seemed to genuinely care about my problem and immediately helped me find a solution. I didn't feel rushed or like she wasn't listening. She was gentle and empathetic. The receptionist and medical assistant were very professional and my wait in the lobby was very short. I will certainly be back for my skincare needs in the future. Highly recommend for Black patients looking for an expert in our skin! My only qualm is that I had to wait several weeks for an appointment, but that's just a testament to how popular her practice is.
