Services
Preplanning a funeral has many advantages. It provides an opportunity to design a funeral that reflects your wishes, and ensures that there is money designated towards it and readily available at the time it is needed. Planning also has the added benefits of relieving family or friends from having to make important decisions or face financial concerns at a stressful time.
These forms are designed to assist you in correctly identifying individual(s) with the primary right to control the funeral and disposition and securing their written authorizations to perform the services selected. The forms require the authorizing agent(s) to attest to the truth of the information they provide to your funeral home.
The State of New Jersey has a detailed law that clearly defines who can legally make decisions for the funeral and disposition (burial or cremation) of a deceased person. Funeral homes and cemeteries are required to follow the law for all arrangements.
New Jersey's law (N.J.S.A. 45:27-22 Control of funeral, disposition of remains) specifies who has the right to provide authorization to a funeral home to transfer the deceased from their place of death, make decisions for the deceased's care and disposition, and determine the selection of funeral merchandise.

The Funeral Director of Islamic Burial Services, LLC will help coordinate funeral arrangements. The funeral home will assist you in determining the number of copies of the death certificates you will be needing and will order them for you.

Sister Huwa and her staff are absolutely great. (May Allah Protect them and reward them)Sister Huwa took the time to help with everything. She had so much patience and was so helpful. She is very honest and does everything with her heart in it. During this time of a pandemic, other Islamic services weren’t available or didn’t want to help us, we live in South Jersey so she had one of her amazing staff come all the way from Newark to South Jersey to pick my grandma up. The service was done with professionalism, compassion, and respect for the family that were not Muslim but wanted to respect the wishes of their loved one Arturo Omar Jones!
