When planning a funeral, one of the many decisions you will make is where your loved one's final resting place will be. Depending on whether you choose a cemetery, your home, your garden or some other location, you will need to choose an appropriate protective container. Your funeral director will match your specific needs to all available options, which may include caskets, vaults, or urns.
After toll stay to your Right and take exit for Rt. 508 West/Kearny. Follow the ramp and you will be on Harrison Avenue. Go to first (1st) traffic light (Wal-Mart on left) and make Right turn onto Bergen Avenue. Take Bergen Avenue to first traffic light and make Right turn onto Schuyler Avenue. Take Schuyler Avenue for two (2) traffic lights and make Left turn onto Oakwood Avenue.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.

Steven Thiele does a professional and outstanding job with all aspects of the funeral arrangements. My Family and I have used the Thiele-Reid Funeral home three times and every time the service has been outstanding. Steven is extremely accessible even on his days off. I highly recommend using this Funeral Home.

Steve had his hands full with my mother's many strong-willed children and her unexpected death. A gentle nature, class, respect and moderation were the innate skills he had to lead us through the painful process of honoring her wishes. I was in awe as he soothed our grief. I can't imagine that any family could be in better hands than his.

Dealing with a death in the family is no easy task, and is even more complicated when final arrangements require transporting the deceased out of the country. Steven Thiele of Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home made the difficult process of planning and organizing the arrangements for my grandmother's funeral as easy as it could have been. From arriving promptly after my grandmother's passing, to arranging a beautiful wake, and in obtaining the required documentation for transportation, Steven went above and beyond in providing the very best services. He is kind, respectful, responsive, and understanding
