Services
Beach Cities Fitness is located in Dana Point, California. As a fitness facility, Beach Cities Fitness has a holistic approach to health; it integrates the goals of CrossFit's functional movements at high intensity, while also providing an environment for education and personal growth in a community setting.
Because we offer roughly 6 class times daily, and having a convenient location off Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point, we see a LOT of drop-in athletes from all over the world. We'd love for you to drop in, share where you're from, and experience our fun little community while you're in town! We also offer open gym times throughout the day Monday-Saturday.
Former Coach at 7 Mile Strength and Fitness (CrossFit 7 Mile), Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Equipped with a bachelors in Exercise Science, I set out on a quest to discover what fitness really meant and how I could bring it to others. In 2007, I was introduced to CrossFit by a mentor of mine.

Since then, I have traveled the world and lived abroad, gaining my CrossFit certification as a Level 3 coach and even participating in the Latin American regionals and CrossFit Games in 2012.

I have been a member since 2019. I am an older athlete and attend the workouts regularly to maintain fitness. The coaches are informed, caring and supportive. The members are friendly and encouraging. There is a welcoming atmosphere that treats people like family. All levels of athletic abilities are welcomed and supported. There are no typical “gym attitudes” here. Just really nice people with a common goal of fitness. Highly recommend BCF to anyone.

Such a wonderful and welcoming place! I was visiting from Maryland and was looking for a place to get a couple workouts during my stay. Although I had never done a Crossfit class before, I had done similar workouts, so I kind of new what to expect. I filled out the contact on the website on the evening before I wanted to try a class. Aaron responded very quickly and said I was welcome to drop-in for a class or two. I showed up the next morning and had a great workout with Tarrah and a group of very friendly, encouraging people. Love this gym! As a physical therapist, I have very high standards when it comes to keeping athletes safe. BCF ticks all the boxes for me. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating to all levels. They focus on technique which is huge in Crossfit. The community feel is very welcoming and no one is left out! I wouldn't hesitate referring my patients!

I have been a member of CFDP since March 2017, and the experience has been extremely rewarding. Not only has my overall level of fitness improved significantly, but I’m also constantly being challenged to try new ways to push myself further than I thought I could go. The community is very welcoming, including all ages and levels of fitness.

Crossfit Dana Point is my favorite gym ever! Point blank period. The community is amazing and I LOVE that you can workout outside or inside! Plus the owner Zak is the man!! CrossFit Dana Point is three buildings away from my apartment. Ever since they moved in, our community has been brighter. Their gym has an open-air setup with fitness equipment both inside and outside of the premises. On any given day, you will see groups of people exercising there or running laps around our block, which creates an awesome energy buzz in the neighborhood.
They recently developed a 21-day lifestyle challenge and opened it up to both members and non-members (like myself). I just finished it and had a great experience. It caused me to adopt healthy habits that I want to continue

I live in the Dana Point area and have trouble with working out while being self-motivated. CrossFit Dana Point is an amazing community of like-minded individuals who all have goals of getting better daily. Zak and all the coaches(Becca, Nader, TayMo, Ram, etc.) are all amazing and will help you meet whatever goals you set for yourself while staying injury free and healthy. If you want a place to workout where you aren’t alone, can reach your goals, and meet wonderful/kind people CrossFit Dana Point is the best place to be!

I love this place. I’ve been a member for a year. I joined after realizing I needed to radically improve my fitness and also after witnessing the New Years resolutioner flood at the local 24hr. But before I joined I tried a few other crossfit gyms and this one stood out because I could tell that Coach Becca (and Zak) really cared about whether I joined or not. The coaches are very knowledgeable, every member is very friendly, and there is a real sense of community. Also, after being a member for a while, when I drop in to other CrossFit gyms I like to analyze how they do things and how they coach

I dropped in for a week while I was visiting some family. All of the workouts were incredibly challenging but I felt excellent afterwards. Becca and Cynthia were great in explaining all of the movements and pushing me through the tougher parts of the workouts. I liked the indoor/outdoor mix of the box. Definitely my go to gym anytime I'll be in Dana Point!

This is the ONLY place to workout in Dana Point!!! Zak and the team create the most welcoming environment for anyone dropping in, as well as they have truly created a family with all of the members. You'll get great guidance and tips for efficiency on movements and lifts. You also get amazing support and one on one coaching if you're brand new to CrossFit. You can't go wrong with becoming a part of this community-building lifelong friendships, improving your fitness level, increasing your overall health to allow you to do the things you physically want to do...it's really a no-brainer!
