The food just kept coming and coming! A very special occasion brought my wife and I from Ohio on Saturday. The appetizers were so unique. The pickled, grilled watermelon slices were a hit with my wife. Ramp… hummus with fresh veggies for dipping, quesadillas, pickled eggs and more. Fork tender beef sirloin over skin on mashed potatoes with grilled squash and onions. Dessert was a tongue teasing cilantro-lime sorbet with a fiery habanero sorbet that will set you on fire! The staff was attentive to every detail and took care of everyone effortlessly. Delicious libations flowed from the barkeep

The perfect place for FOODIES! We wanted to explore the menu, so we split three appetizers and two entrees. Everything was delectable! We highly recommend the SPRING PEA BISQUE & ELK MEATLOAF. Great service too! The waiter told us that in the summer the menu changes often, so this a great place to always find something FRESH & UNIQUE. They source from local farms. We will definitely be back and tell our friends about Hill & Hollow.

Every time I go there I love it even more. This time was a memorial for my mother, who also loved the place. The family gathered Saturday to remember a special woman. Hill and Hollow gave us a private room,… very nice. We had kids and as kids do, they had fun and Hill and Hollow was kind and understanding. I can not say enough about the people or the food. Go! You won't regret it. Try the Prime Brazilian cut loin. Best ever!

This place is AMAZING! To the atmosphere, the eclectic music at the perfect volume, the wait staff ending in the mouth watering food! We got the pan seared bread with berry drizzle and it was ridiculous. I would go back just to get a couple orders of that to carry out! I also got the pea soup as an appetizer and I would not have thought mint oil with curry powder would go with pea soup but boy was I wrong. Trust the chef! My husband got the Elk meatloaf and it literally melts in your mouth! I got the pork loin and it was very good also.

*I did not originally plan on uploading these pictures. I only took them to make my boyfriend jealous of our meal so they are not the best. The lighting in the restaurant was not the best for pictures either. The pic of the tostadas was taken after I had eaten 1 shell.
TLDR at bottom.
My friend and I decided to give this place a try while in Morgantown for her hair appointment. I was so excited, I knew what I was going to order the day before.
We showed up shortly after they opened and were told they were booked for 3 hours. After walking out pretty disappointed, one of the staff came out behind

The food here is pretty disgusting. Over the years I've been drug here multiple times and I can't say I've ever had a decent meal. The food is of poor quality and it is not filling. The drinks are ok but that's about it. I always warn my friends that it is not good who in turn insist on going. They always agree with me in the end. Do yourself a favor and save your money. If you are looking for a nicer dining experience I would recommend Sargasso.

Really good place! Great atmosphere and the service was awesome. The chicken pasta was extremely flavorful and fresh. The NY strip was cooked perfectly, the roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes were perfect with the steak.
We had a couple from the rare whiskey collection and the advice we were given was spot on!

A gem in Morgantown. They welcome anyone, but appreciate reservations when possible. I went for the first time last night and cant wait to go again to further explore the menu and drink options. The restaurant utilizes West Virginia ingredients in the food and drinks. I went with the ramp martini which included pickled ramps for a unique and solid taste. For our food, we had the Brazilian steak and I had the elk meatloaf which was prepared in a cast iron skillet and tasted delicious. It was wonderful and the service was out of this world. Our desert consisted of creme brulee, peach rhubarb with

My favorite place in the state for dinner. I have been several times and each time has been excellent. My go to is the Prime Brazilian cut loin steak but wouldn't hesitate to try anything on the menu. This is a true farm to table restaurant not only do they use local farms but a bunch of items come from the Chef's farm. The bartender Chet is very talented and knows the menu and restuarant very well and also makes some of the best drinks in town. If you are in Morgantown for dinner and don't give this place a try you are missing out.
