Bettersweet Vegan Bakery

This review is longgggg over due but Bettersweet is my most FAVORITE bakery ever. When I was working in Miami, there was a restaurant that carried the most delicious carrot cake. I was really sick at the time and couldn’t eat gluten, sugar, or diary. I would order my usually chicken and rice bowel from one of the local restaurants and always looked forward to a slice of the carrot cake they carried and it would make my entire day. I got a cake from Bettersweet for my husband's birthday. It came out perfect! I can tell that a lot of time and detail went into this cake. I am really happy with it, and will be using them for future birthdays or other special events. Thank you!

I didn't go to the bakery but had the opportunity to try their goodies at Love Life Cafe. I was blown away! The carrot cake was better than the usual ones and to think this is vegan and gluten-free! It was moist, flavorful and delicious!

I cannot emphasize enough how incredible this was!

I called this morning and requested a repeat order of a SMASH CAKE (that I had ordered twice before).
As I unpacked the cake, I noticed that it was incorrect and was not what I had specifically ordered (a hard shelled/smashable cake with a hammer).

I absolutely loved my birthday cake! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The owner, Indira, even called a few days before to confirm the delivery of the cake to the restaurant and everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. My guests didn’t know that the cake was vegan until afterwards and it was so delicious!! I would definitely order another cake when I’m in Miami!

Ordered a lovely semi-naked mini cake in red velvet with cookies and cream filling. It was delicious! Indira was very accommodating and kind. The cake was delivered by a lovely gentleman on time. So happy with this order!

I have ordered six cakes from Bettersweet and I have to say that everything has been amazing. The customer service, prices and flavors are great for me. Again, thank you so much Indira for the delicious and amazing cakes you have created for me!!

I’ll start off by saying it is SO HARD to find great tasting vegan baked goods. I ordered an anime themed cake for my daughter’s bday, the decor was really nice, but the taste and moisture was AMAZING even after being in the fridge. I finally found a go to place for cakes.

I was referred to Bettersweet from a friend. I was very excited to find an all vegan bakery being that my son was turning 10 years old and with him being vegan since birth, it's been difficult trying to find someone to accommodate his diet for birthday parties. However, this was one of the worst experiences I ever had and I am very disappointed especially considering I paid over $300 for my son's cake. Upon arrival, my cake was not properly packaged and was inside of a random box that was forced into the backseat of my car (Please see picture below) I have never seen large cakes packaged

I got a cake for my husbands birthday, who is not vegan, but several people in our party, including myself are vegan, my husband ended up loving the cake and couldn't believe it was vegan. It was fresh, moist and not overwhelmingly sweet. The turn around time was great, and the customer service was amazing. Super easy to work with it and will be ordering again for our next celebration.

Let me just say how amazing Indira, the owner, is. Due to COVID, my sister's graduation wasn't typical so my family and I wanted to do something extra special on the day they announced she graduated. Unfortunately, we had forgotten about the cake, and on top of that, my sister is vegan, so not many bakeries could do that for her. I called Bettersweet and I told Indira that we needed a graduation cake for the next day, and she was super helpful. She told me to fill out the quote sheet on their website and I did. She texted me the price and we went ahead and booked her. My best friend picked it up

Indira handled my last minute order from start to finish. She was absolutely amazing, as was her delicious vegan cake. The business is by Jackson, no store front, to my knowledge. She and her staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and I look forward to buying their cakes in the future.

I ordered an assortment of gluten-free vegan cupcakes a few weeks ago and had them delivered. They were for my daughter, but the entire family loved the cupcakes! They taste great. We liked them all!! And the owner was great as well! She was very helpful with my questions, and communicated very well. The service was excellent. I highly recommend bettersweet

Rarely do you find a cake that tastes as good as it looks, however that is exactly what our cake from Bettersweet was! I was fortunate to find this bakery after doing a Google search for gluten free birthday cakes in Miami. I reached out to the company via text and got an immediate response. Indira, the owner/baker, was lovely and fun to work with. We designed a beautiful vanilla and berry birthday cake which was delivered to our door.
Thank you Indira for making my daughter's birthday extra special, despite being in quarantine! We are still eating leftovers and enjoying every bite!!

Bettersweet Bites is amazing! I needed to get a vegan gluten free cake for a coworker and I got everything I wanted and more. The entire process from first contact to pickup was smooth and easy. I had a vision of the cake, and it was perfectly executed and tasted so good. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great tasting treats with dietary restrictions.

Amazing cakes and cupcakes! I wanted a vegan cake to match a Mexican themed bday, and after speaking with Indira and sharing the bday theme, she created the most beautiful and delicious vegan cake I've ever had. I tried some of the flavors Bettersweet Bites carries by ordering an assortment of mini-cupcakes, and I was torn between 2 flavors. Indira recommended I combine them and the result was pure magic. After a really bad experience with another vegan bakery, I was really happy about finding this place. The costumer service is great and she was always willing to answer all my questions and concerns. The cupcakes were super yummy and didn't even taste vegan.

Amazing pastries, cakes and desserts.Bettersweets are great to work with, they answered all my emails and questions promptly. I sent them pictures of what I wanted and they made my cake look exactly like in the pictures. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Vegan or not vegan you need to try them! Best cakes in Miami.

Bettersweet Bites products are simply AMAZING. I started buying their treats from the Yellow Green Market weekly (Sweet potato chocolate and lemon bread) and have really become hooked. The treats are remarkable, they taste wonderful AND have super-food ingredients. When you eat them it leaves you feeling light as a feather with a big smile knowing that what you just ate has ingredients (Example: Cacao) that are actually healthy. And BTW, it seems like every week the business owner invents a new insanely tasty healthy treat.

I hate vegan pastries. Just in general. It's supposed to be food, not a science experiment. Inevitably it ends up too sweet. Too oily. Heavy. Lacking the flavour and texture of traditional baking. As a result, compensate with more sugar. Not the case here...

These pastries were great!!! Not great vegan pastries, great pastries period. The mini cupcakes are well conceived, balanced, and right bloody tasty. The chocolate strawberry is the best cupcake I've had.
