Ouray Brewery
Ouray Brewery will be closed from 11/1 through at least 11/12 to make improvements to our restaurant and brewery. The reopening date may vary if we run into unexpected issues. People come from all around the world to visit Ouray Colorado and to experience what makes it great. Whether it's ice climbing, world-class Jeeping or hiking in the San Juan Mountains, Ouray Colorado is a true mountain gem.

At the Ouray Brewery, we're happy to be a small part of each visitor's experience, providing great beers, great food and rooftop views from our restaurant that are unparalleled. Due to a lack of affordable workforce housing in the region, the Ouray Brewery will be closing as early as 7:00 pm due to staffing issues combined with a lengthy waiting list at our establishment.

We were fortunate enough to snag an outside table and sit with our dog and have burgers and brews and of course, people watch. It was a nice time and burgers and fries, a bit pricey, were very good. Of course, what would be bad about a deal like that in beautiful downtown Ouray!
Our server, Tip, (real name --??) was really a neat guy and even left water for our dog.

Ouray Brewery is a must if you are in Ouray! The beer is delicious and the staff are so welcoming. My husband and I are vegan and they did not hesitate with what they could make for us. We had the soup of the day (green chili--yum!) and I asked to have the Beet Reuben without the cheese and thousand island, but add sauerkraut and avocado. They also have an impossible burger on the menu if you are feeling that and you can't skip out on the french fries. It was so yummy and I so appreciated how friendly they were with accommodating us! We will always make time to go there!

Great experience here overall from the moment we were escorted inside. Host seemed like a pro, and the host and server were so accommodating when we found out we would have a few more people joining us. Food and beers were awesome. They are definitely vegetarian friendly. Our server seemed busy but she still made time for us. She gave us such a great recommendation for a spot to camp that we stayed there an extra night. I wish I caught her name because she was just awesome. So kind and professional. This is going to be our go-to spot when we're in Ouray.

Great brewery in downtown Ouray. The staff are super cool and will tell you everything you need to know. The rooftop bar is where the party is. I tried every beer on the menu and they were all great. The food menu is small but all the options looked great. I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Can be crowded at peak hours.

What a gem! Wings were awesome (maybe a tad little), The Elote dip...to die for and they gave me the recipe! Anthony's burger of the day was phenomenal! Well seasoned burger with bacon jam, cheese, avacado, and a grilled tomato..topped with a perfectly cooked egg..open faced on sourdough toast. And their craft beers were top notch.

We have been coming here for years, and we love it. OB has excellent beer, which they brew down the street at their large brewing facility. Over the summer, they had seltzers in addition to their traditional IPAs, Browns, Porters, Pale Ales, etc., and they were lovely. They also have great food!!!! We love the impossible burgers (topped any way you like), fries, elote dip, and their salads are nutritious, creative, and flavorful! We love sitting on the rooftop patio when it's open; the loft over the old brewing area is fun, and of course, the swings at the bar are a must. When you are in Ouray

First, they have swings instead of barstools. Second, they have all in house brewed beers and home made food. Third, they have probably the coolest staff out there. Super nice, always ready to grab you the next beer, and very helpful in recommendations. Also tip, wait at the front door like the three signs at the front instruct you to do. It really helps them get people situated. Literally longest someone had to wait was tops a minute. Two thumbs way up and highly recommended! Thank you so much for your awesome service. Keep up the great work!

The people who work here are probably the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life. The atmosphere is awesome, the beer and food are incredible. The swing bar chairs are something I have never seen before but pretty interesting and original. Mushroom Burger

This is one of my favorite breweries I've ever visited, and we happened across it while road tripping and being tourists in Ouray. The burgers we had were both so delicious (I wish I remember the names of the burgers but I don't think you can go wrong with any) and the drinks were SO good. I had a cider and it was the best hard cider I've ever had. I think about it all the time and it is now my gold standard with hard ciders now lol. The atmosphere is also super cool and the rooftop area is a must-see for beautiful mountain scenery while enjoying delicious food and drinks. I will

We recently spent an afternoon at the Ouray Brewery, while staying in the town. As far as getting a drink with a view, you can't beat the rooftop seating area. The mountains and the people watching is fantastic from up there. We ended up ordering pretty much every beer they make and we found that they were all really flavorful, but weren't too boozy. Our favorite ended up being the San Juan IPA. We basically just hung out on the rooftop for a few hours and just hit up the counter to order food and drinks. All of the staff was friendly and chatty too, so it was a great place to pass the

Crowded for a reason. People watched and hunkered down during an afternoon monsoon. Great vibe and service even though they were short on staff. Excellent sandwiches and brew.

Nice brewery and ambiance with a great selection of brews, the Box Canyon Brown and 1555 Dark Lager were excellent, and I’m not a fan of brown ales. The food is good as well. The host on 8/3/21 during lunch told us that the Ouray Courthouse was where the court seen in John Wayne’s Tru Grit was filmed, so great service and staff as well. I highly recommend it as a stop on your your. The scenery is beautiful too if you get an outside seat in the roof.

First time here and I look forward to coming back! Get here right when it opens at 11:07am so you get in first and get your food and beer quick. The rooftop fills up fast but with the views and cool August breeze it’s no wonder!
The Green Chile Burger and Elote Dip were really really good! Our family of 4 each had a plate of food and 2 beers each for the adults and with tip it was upwards of $115 so be aware of your meal prices. The food is great, beer is great and views are great and you’ll pay for it all too! (Not complaining just fair warning if you’re a big family!)
I can’t wait to

I was so disappointed in this place. We were here 3 years ago and loved it. The menu has gone downhill. Barely any of their own beers
, if any, on tap. Burger was overdone and underseasoned. Kids menu abhorrent, my Buffalo chicken salad was why it's 2 stars instead of 1.

We got there right away when they opened at 11. We chose to sit on the rooftop. What a spectacular view! The Wife and friends had BBQ Chicken Salads and Asian Chicken Sandwiches. I had a Green Chile Cheeseburger that was pretty dang legit! The service was great. The host outside where you check in was very welcoming and the beer tenders and food runner were equally as warm and pleasant to talk to. They also have some excellent merchandise. Always happy to find a shirt rack that isn't picked over and out of XL sizes. I snagged a shirt and an awesome sticker to remember my visit. If you are able

Delicious food!!
We were a party of 8 and all ordered burgers (and one chicken sandwich to share) and you could hear a collective “yum” come from our table. The food was all so delicious and cooked perfectly.
The elote dip was so yummy, with the chips it came with, and it was great on fries!
I would highly recommend eating here!! 🍔🍟🤩
Some of our group tried the beers and really liked them, I don’t remember which ones.
We had quite a bit of a wait, but we used that time to walk around and get our shopping in, it worked great!
We sat on the rooftop, which offers beautiful views

Would give a 4 1/2 if able. We both had impossible burgers and they were amazing. The San Juan ipa is delish. From the service, to the rooftop bar and amazing views, you can't go wrong here. Only downside was the hostess attitude in front but that quickly faded once on the rooftop

It's easy to have a good time here. Drinks are reasonably priced, there is a mountain view on the rooftop bar, and heaps of seating! All the food I've had here is good, and I've never experienced long lines or wait for service. I can confidently say this place is not over hyped; it is a true gem for tourists and locals alike.

Five star service, five star beer, five star atmosphere.

When visiting Ouray, I can't recommend stopping here enough! We came 30 minutes before closing (posted online) and it seemed they were shutting down early. We just wanted beers, no food, but were happy to search elsewhere (we'd just arrived in town). They ushered us in and were more than happy to serve us. You don't get that kind of welcome in a city or corporate place!

We spoke to a few different people behind the bar and they were attentive, friendly, and just plain good company. High spirits for a snowy Monday night.

This place is awesome. We just visited and had dinner after walking around the town and the food, service, and all around experience was excellent.

The waitress we had was extremely friendly and helpful, and handled our numerous requests very kindly. The process at the front to handle COVID screening and sanitizing was seamless and thorough. And their seating was nicely spaced out but plentiful enough for us to only have to wait 15 minutes during and evening.

The food was really amazing. We started with one portion of the Elote Dip but ended up getting two since it was so good, and their main
