Room 103 was a large, open, dog-friendly/beach-friendly room (tile floor) with plenty of space for a dog bed or two. We didn't bring our dogs for this trip, but definitely will the next time. A few blocks walk to the beach. Close to everything, including boardwalk, laser tag, city park (with kid play area), grocery and restaurants.

We recently stayed here for a long weekend for a baseball tournament. This motel is a hidden gem! The front desk staff could not be friendlier and more accommodating. Anything we needed (towels, trash removal) was at our door in minutes. The location is right by a brewery, restaurants, and 5 minutes to the beach. The pool is small but an added bonus for a budget friendly hotel. It’s not a Hilton but if you are looking for clean, affordable, and having a fridge/microwave option it’s definitely a place I would recommend. We will definitely return soon!

Staff is extremely friendly. Keep in mind this isn't the Hilton. It's a beach hotel. Room was clean and acceptable. Has coffee maker, but bring your own filters as local supermarket never had any. Swimming pool is a bit small, but if it isn't a holiday weekend, it's a good break after the beach. Another thing is it appears to be pet friendly as there were a ton of dogs there. Overall it's a good hotel and cost effective. I took a star away for condition of the coffee table and dresser. Partical board construction doesn't last well in humid environments and our room was showing its age. Overall

Beautiful place! My friend and I came here on vacation. We are extremely pleased with the accommodations. Very spacious room. Clean, nice decor, friendly staff. Conveniently located, 5 min. walk from the beach. Close to shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. Definitely a place we will return. Highly recommended!

Clean, spacious rooms with a kitchenette. The entire property is well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. Plenty of free parking. Impressive Wifi speed for a motel - no problem streaming video on our laptops. Nice pool. Family oriented - zero noise between 10 PM and 8 AM. We have stayed at several other places in Atlantic Beach, but the Island Inn will be our destination on all future trips. This place is a great value.

Really nice beach area to stay at. When I arrived I was not disappointed with the service here. The have all the amenities anyone could ask for. Pool, ice machine, beach access. This place also allows dogs which is a plus. I actually had fun here, and summer is definitely the time to come check this place out you won't be dissapointed.

Island Inn is definitely our go to anytime visiting the beach. After multiple stays, we have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and affordable, the pool is always clean, and it is a quiet nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly, and Mrs. Loretta (whom I believe is the owner) goes above and beyond to put her guest first. I highly recommend staying here next time you're at the beach, I can guarantee you won't regret it.

I sent a client of mine over to Island Inn and he was so impressed by the price, size of unit, cleanliness and the amazing staff!! He said it was also very quiet! This is 2 stars motel, 4 stars staff and 5 stars cleanliness and convenience. All needed items are supplied. Pet friendly! Love it! I don't understand why not more hotels be pet friendly! But this place let your whole family to be together. I'm very happy staying here and definitely coming back. We have a wonderful time!

We've stayed at Island Inn twice now, it's been a great experience both times. The location is a short walk from the beach, and there's a local bar within walking distance as well (The Tackle Box)
Positives: Distance to beach (2-3 blocks), Island inn is pet friendly, affordable, and very clean. I love staying here when I go to Atlantic Beach.
Negatives: Cheap soap in the Shower, small pool, no exercise area or hot tub, no view of the beach.

The place is very cute from the outside. The room was clean; we really liked the all tile floor. It was also really nice that there was no one above us- our part of the building was one floor.
There was a pump soap dispenser screwed into the wall under the shower head. I thought that was tacky. Just leave tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner.
The room came with a microwave/fridge. For some reason I thought we'd have a kitchenette but did not. It would have been nice to have been upgraded (off season). It appeared the only 3 or 4 other rooms were being occupied. But oh well...we
