Services
Eastwood Towing, Inc. was opened in 1933 in the east end of Waterbury, CT, by William (Bill) O. Messer. Bill operated a small repair shop and soon purchased a tow truck, in a time when repair shops were few and far between, especially shops with tow trucks. Shortly after the purchase of his tow truck, Bill became a contractor with the American Automobile Association (AAA), becoming one of the first AAA service providers in the nation.

HORRIBLE! I am big on customer service and they have none whatsoever! The guy who answered the phone was inappropriately RUDE! Had a horrible attitude. Did not let me speak clearly, kept interrupting me and ended hanging up in my face. They clearly did not want business today. I called back because that was annoying and the lady that picked up the phone was just as grumpy. Didn't even answer the phone like a business place should. It was a plain hello with an attitude! When i was trying to explain to her what happen, she automatically said and why would he hang up on you. Useless, rude, ignorant

Zero stars ... roadside was called and they didn't bring proper tools to change tire ??? Gave three very different reasons as to why he couldn't , including my tire was flat out broken lol??? Then the tow driver (who had an attitude before he even got out the damn truck and clearly didn't want to take this call!!!) said maybe you should try air In the tire? Nooo maybe you should try air in the tire sir! So you don't send a truck with air or lug remover to a flat tire call?? He said you have to tow it, so he got in his TOW truck and left me there, i had to Uber home!!! Literally

Terrible have a roadside assistance company called them they refused the tow. Claimed there was too much snow around vehicle. The vehicle was all shoveled and free and clear of snow. The driveway was plowed. THEY ARE LAZY AND BECAUSE IT WAS A ROADSIDE SERVICE CALL THEY REFUSED. I assume they get a set amount. Another company came had no problem hook and towing and driving out the driveway! THAT IS PROOF THEY ARE LAZY AND WORTHLESS. DO NOT USE AND TELL YOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE DO NOT USE!!

The night before my vehicle wouldnt start when I was trying to go home from work and I thought it was because of the engine light that came on just the night before. Little did I know that the issue was a bad battery. A young man named Tim asked me about what it sounded like when I tried to start it and he figured out that it was just my battery. Well on top of this I couldnt get into my SUV so I did whatever needed to be done, got in and started it right out. Thanks you Tim for your kind service. It was really appreciated.

Leeeeegit the best customer service EVER!! And during such a crazy time!! From Ronan, at dispatch to the actual driver of the truck - unbelievably amazing. They both were extremely nice - which, unfortunately, is not something I get to deal with on a regular basis. They were extremely quick to get the vehicle I needed towed and amazingly communicative - no waiting, no wondering when it could be done. In the past I've had to wait hours for a tow, they were en route immediately and at the property in no time. If you need towing call them!! They literally made such a less than awesome thing

The service provided Eastwood towing was excellent. My car transmission stop working and I was left stranded in the middle of the road. I called my insurance company for road service assistance, and they asign a tow truck from Eastwood towing as my service provider. The truck came in about 20 minutes, and the driver, Mr. Paul M. was very professional and helpful. I woul recommend Eastwood towing to anyone in need of towing services.

These people are crooks! My fiance ran over a mattress not his fault was dark and no shoulder to get over leaving Waterbury. Mattress got wrapped under drive shaft took our electrical out and it stalled. We were calling TA cop said he will call local tow place he knows they'll take great care of us. Anyways 3 tow trucks arrived we were charged max rates for each one. Plus $1500 for clean up it was half bag of trash everything was wrapped under semi! One guy was to big to fit under semi to drop drive shaft it's automatic semi! 2nd tow guy had to what a joke! 3rd tow dropped us at hotel

Matt from Eastwood towing is a rockstar... We had a pretty bad problem that was out of the norm and he took care of us... Got us off of the side of the highway to a shop that happened to be closed, but took us to a hotel in the area that was decently priced! They were fast too! From the time I called my insurance to the time he arrived was like 20-25 minutes. Give this guy a raise or something! Thanks and keep up the good work!

My car radiator broke and my car got stucked on a middle of the highway. I called my insurance company State Farm Insurance and order Emergency Road assistance service that was included with my insurance contract (it replaced AAA service).
I was told that it will be 45 minutes and the Towing track will pick me up.
I also was told that I will get a phone call updating me when driver is going to be close.
I did received a phone call 20 minutes later notifying me that the towing track is 20 minutes away. After waiting for 55 minutes I called company again and was told that track is on a way and

I had an excellent, albeit unexpected, experience with this company today.
I found my car overheating (a first) and needing to fix the problem asap. I did call AAA, so the choice of company was not mine, but, for a first-time towing experience, i couldn't have been happier. My guy (art?) was incredibly gentlemanly, opening the door for me AND referring to me as 'miss' at all times. His personal yet professional demeamor was definitely appreciated. He also apologized several times for taking so long, which really was not his fault, as it just happened to be an unusually busy
