Adlerian Child Care Centers have been providing child development programs for children using the child rearing approaches founded by psychologist Alfred Adler. Our teachers provide children an early childhood program that encourages them to develop cooperation, responsibility, and mutual respect for fellow human beings. Our centers offer programs for children from six weeks of age through eleven years of age.
Services
Our infant program is designed to provide your little one with a loving and nurturing environment that encourages your baby's social/emotional, language, cognitive and physical development. Caregivers engage your child in play activities that stimulate your baby's exploration of the world. Outside play occurs daily and will give your infant an opportunity to experience nature and science and develop gross motor skills.
The ever curious toddler will flourish in a program that provides experiential learning. Our teachers lead marching, dancing, hopping, crawling and ball play activities designed to strengthen your toddler's gross motor skill development. Painting, stacking games, puzzles and water play pave the way for your child's creative expression and fine motor skill development.
A nurturing and playful environment paves the way for your child's early learning. Counting, sequencing and sorting games get your child off to a bright start in math. Storytelling, picture interpretation, songs and dramatic play open the world of language for your child. Fine motor skill development is honed through art activities, puzzle assembly, and manipulative toys.
Your child's early learning experience is of the utmost importance to us. Our program is designed to stimulate learning through play. Our programs use Creative Curriculum as well as the South Carolina Early Learning Standards. Teachers lead tactile activities that are experiential and fun to encourage the development of early math, literacy and language skills.
The world of learning takes off for your child in our pre-kindergarten program. Our teachers lead hands on individual and small group activities to broaden your child's understanding of science, social studies, music, language arts, math and art. Teachers engage your child in conversations about their activities to encourage further exploration and learning.

Teachers keep us informed about our child's progress . We greatly appreciated the parent/teacher conference. They take health and safety precautions seriously and still make sure parents can drop off and not be late to work. Our child loves it here. We could not be happier with Ms. Hope and Ms. Vita. Adlerian is doing a great job of meeting the ongoing challenges of COVID. Highly recommend.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Adlerian’s director, Cindy, does not acknowledge parents concerns regarding their children. She is very unprofessional when dealing with parents and children. I would not recommend any child to attend that daycare due to director’s unprofessionalism, lack of interaction with teachers, and poor quality of food.

They left my grandson in wet clothes after he threw up on himself from their food. when my daughter went to pick him up they told her they didn't want to change him cause they didn't want him to get wet again. Their owner screamed at me to go get my mask. I accidently forgot it in the car. unprofessional. the owner is a rude woman.

I chose 1 star because 0 isn’t a possible rating. This is by far the WORST daycare I’ve ever seen in my life. I picked my child up this past week and she had 3 different bruises in 3 different spots on her body, it looks like she has been pinched! Nobody reported this to me ! My child is in the toddler room, I know another toddler can not pinch her hard enough to leave a bruise! When I brought it to the directors attention, she literally laughed it off as if it were funny. This isn’t the first time my child has come home from this facility with unknown marks on her. I am fed up with the lack

This facility is very unsafe to have your child at. They do not verify that you are getting the correct child and we were brought the wrong child even after giving his full name. When I asked if they could do something better to ensure that the correct child would be given to each parent, it seemed as if the director could care less whether or not I received my child or not. I even asked if they would notify the other parent that they almost gave their child to the wrong person and they could not see why that would be important for them to know. They have put our payment towards the wrong child

I work for Ms. Cindy for three years at her harbison location and i enjoy every moment and thats why i decide to bring my two year old daughter to her irmo location and i absolutely love the irmo center. I love the teachers and the directors there. Everytime i drop my daughter off in the mornings the directors always greet us with a smile. i never have to worry about how my daughter day is going because everytime i pick her, she never want to leave the center. if anyone looking for a daycare, i recommend irmo location because your child or children will love it.

My son was here when he was younger and I was very pleased. Our younger child is now enrolled and we are again very pleased. They helped with toilet training our 2 year old and gave me help for toilet training at home. Teacher keeps us informed on how our child is progressing. And they are taking COVID precautions seriously.

My four year old started the end of July. I chose this place because it is across the road to my school where I teach. When giving him a shower I noticed three bruises on his upper arm that appeared to be finger prints. I asked him what happened to his arm and he said that a teacher grabbed him, picked him up, and put him in line. I spoke with Cindy about the incident and she was very passive about it saying the teacher doesn't know what happened. Needless to say I filed a report with the state and it is under investigation. Train your employees at the very least.

My daughter has been going to Adlerian for about a month now and we absolutely love it. We've never experienced any sort of problem with the staff or facility director. Everything was explained to us in a very straightforward manner regarding payment, security of the building, classroom set up, etc. My shy daughter has tons of friends now and will cry when she comes home because she wants to go right back to "school". They have annual picnics and bring the YMCA in for swim lessons. The teachers are definitely getting them kindergarten ready, and rarely are they closed for holidays and the like
