Both of my childrens went to Lake Murray Montessori School for 3 years, they literally grew up there. As any mother of young childrens do, me and my husband visited every local preschools in Northeast areas several times to make the decision. This school had help my children grow into exceptional children socially and academically. If you are looking for a truly decated mind set of teachers, Lake Murray Montesorri school has the right system and curriculum for preschoolers. I went back and forth on whether or not I would leave a review. I was apprehensive because I know no one or place is perfect. I believe in grace. However, as a recent resident of SC, I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about childcare, health care, etc., therefore I made the decision to make a review. After a week of being in the 2 year old classroom, my child had an incident on the playground that was described as "fell from rock climbing wall on her back. I held ice on her head and back for 10 minutes each". We did not receive a phone call to inform us about this incident. My husband

Our son has been coming here for 3 years and he loves it! There are even some Saturdays he asks if he can go to school. They are very open to talking about any questions or concerns you have with your child. I'm thrilled with the fact that he is not only excelling academically but learning real life skills (apple cutting, washing dishes, etc) and is very excited to talk about what lessons he did for the day. Any minor injuries have always been documented and the few behavior concerns have always been discussed same day so we can address them immediately. When our youngest son is of age he will

Our daughter has been attending LMMS for a little over 3 years and she has thoroughly enjoyed her experience. Our experiences with Mrs. Lee and all of the teachers and teaching aids have been positive. Anytime an incident happens (which in 3 years I can barely count on one hand) we're notified. We look forward to all Parent/Child nights as well as the Parent/Teacher conferences because it gave a good, visual insight on what she's learning throughout the year and how she has excelled since the last meetings. We were given handouts at our PT conference last year that showed all the effects of Montessori

I cannot express just how much my family loves this school and the people associated with it! My son went there for three years and my daughter is now wrapping up her third year as well and I really credit LMMS with the positive way my children have come into their own personalities. Montessori really helps children become self-aware and responsible and I feel that they enter public school much more advanced and genuinely excited to learn new things. The owner has always been professional and courteous but also sincerely cares about each child and takes the time to get to know them individually

I have two kids who are 5 and 2yrs old going to LMMS at Elder’s pond and both of them love to go to school even in the weekends. The teachers are really good to the kids and they teach different activities according to the learning ability of the kid rather than forcing the kids to learn. My kids always get excited to learn new things and I couldn’t ask for better teachers and facility than LMMS.

After hearing great things about this school and the owner, Mrs Lee, I was very excited to have my child go to this school. He turned two in September and started school the Monday after. I liked the fact that I could bring him in a few times for a few minutes before school started, so he was acquainted with the teacher and class. At first he was very excited to go there but then he didn't want to go anymore. I dismissed his behavior to "him just being too attached" and didn't think much of it... until Tuesday before Thanksgiving-break ..when I went in to bring food for the Thanksgiving Feast
