This is a great place! I just stopped in for some new watch batteries and the friendly owner quickly replaced 3 watch batteries at a great price. The owner also fixed one of the watches, at the same time, just as I was hoping. Took me awhile to find a jeweler I like but I'll be dealing with him exclusively.

Take your business elsewhere. Very very rude, uncaring, and doesn't seem to care about taking custom jewellery orders. Used him a lot when his shop was down on 4th. Will never ever recommend him for anything in the future. Don't waste your time with him.

Poor, poor Customer service, I went in asking about some rings and I was not sure of my gf's ring size and so I brought in an example of her ring asked if we could check the size and then I would want to see rings he has already in that size and he said, "no you can buy something first and then we can talk" and to which I replied I would prefer to know the correct size before i jump into anything. He then said "I'll pass" to my business and I was asked to have a nice day with a gesture to leave. " Please find somewhere else that is more willing to work with customers.

It was great working with Mark to get just the right Arthritic Shank for my beautiful diamond wedding ring .His workmanship is flawless and the price was right on to what I wanted to spend. Finally, after a few years of sitting in a box in my drawer, I am able to wear it again! Thank You Mark.

Strange, possessive, moody jeweler hermit with poor ppl skills. Seems more intent on being a last word freak as well. The positive reviews here look fake. Where's the nice guy you see here replying back? I would type more, but why? Even typing all of this seems to be a waste of time.

Mark helped design and create a custom wedding ring for me. It came out absolutely incredible. I couldn't be more happy! A+++.

The work on my wife's rings was amazing!!!!! She damaged her ring were almost half of the ring was gone. The ring now looks just like it did when I bought it. If you need a great repair done this is your store, I had lost hope that the ring could not be fixing but it looks as good as new. Signs say open but when going during business hours have an appointment first. Proprietor somewhat brusk if you come without an appointment even during business hours. This is new. He's been both helpful and kind in the past. Will be looking for a new jeweler.

Called and called the phone number listed during business hours, for several days. Even emailed! An absolutely NO response. After reading the yelp reviews, I won't be doing business here!

So disappointed with Mark Rydquist! He said he'd be able to do a small & simple repair on my ring & it would take up to 4 weeks because of the holiday! After several phone calls on our part entering the 2nd month & no ring.....we started to get the excuses & lies from Mark! Enter month #3, and my husband went to pick up my ring and the shop was closed during business hours! We called again & Mark said he just got the ring done & we could pick it up the next day! Lo & behold.....we got the ring back and it's NOT fixed?! How can he be in business??? 3

Stopped by this morning to have a watch re-sized that I received for Christmas. Richard (owner) was very friendly and immediately took care of resizing my watch. I was in and out within 15 minutes. His price was very fair. I would definitely return again if I needed a jewelry repair.

Came here to get a battery replacement for s watch and Mark was amazing. He fixed it in 3 minutes and the price was excellent. Very positive, and I shows he cares about his work. I recommend this place!
If you call and don't get an answer. Just go in. He's a craftsman, so he is usually working with his clients orders.

I have gone to Mark several times and have had great service and work. I'm not sure what changed but this time was different and really disappointing. I took my wedding ring in on March 5 to have two prongs repaired. I went back several times to get my ring, only to be told that it "wasn't ready" and asked "did I tell you it would be ready?" Then to be told that he had called to "leave a message" which was also not true. Finally today, over 6 weeks after I left off my ring, I went back in to get my ring. At first he couldn't locate it and then,

Mark is truly a master goldsmith. I get so many compliments on my custom aquamarine ring he designed and made. Also, I brought in several watches for new batteries and a few pieces of jewelry in need of repair. I appreciate his honest opinion and professionalism. If you need a watch repaired or piece of jewelry redesigned, Mark is the only person I would go to.

Disappointed greatly. I called and left a message asking if they could replace my Raymond Weil watch battery, and if so, what would the cost be? That was 4 hours ago, and not even the courtesy of a call back. This is unfortunate, because I had in mind having a custom ring made from an old large gold cocktail ring I have. Won't be considering this "master goldsmith" for my custom work, if he can't even show the courtesy of speaking to me about my watch battery. And, the sign on the front of the store says they have watch batteries. Perhaps he just didn't like my asking

Went in to get my ring size, and was told "I'm not going to do that because you're just going to buy online, and it's not fair for you to do that to me". This was for my 10th anniversary and my wife wanted to update our rings. The ONLY place to get the ring I wanted is online. I went to Mark because he had been a customer of my business for years. I don't have many jewelry needs, but he was the first person I went to when one arose. Mark is extremely short-sighted, and terrible at business. If you're looking to be treated like a peon to the almighty "master goldsmith" this is definitely the place you should go. I came in for a very simple fix to my only pair of glasses that just broke and the owner would barely let me in the door, let alone even look at my issue. He sent me away within two minutes with a "I'm a master gold smith, I don't have time for something like that." Fantastic customer service.
