Visit us today for more information about any of our educational classes. The Merry-Deb Pre-School was established in Braintree Massachusetts in 1970 and a second site was opened in Whitman in 1974.
The schools are named for the daughters of John W. and Sally A. Welch, who have privately owned and operated the schools since they were founded. Merry-Deb functions within the community as an educational program for pre-school, kindergarten and school age children. We strive to maintain high standards of care by on-going professional staff development and training.

Services
Children are placed in classes according to their age upon enrollment, all classes are managed by a lead teacher and assistant teacher, who have met the qualifications and are certified for their positions by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Education, Early Childhood Division. Our youngest class and who work primarily on emotional and social development, this is taught through songs, games and projects.
Programs for the summer begin in June and end the Friday before Labor Day. Children 2.9-9 years of age are welcome. We are open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are five different groups for camp and children are placed according to age. We have a theme based activity program with daily projects based on the theme for the week.
Know you're making the right choice for your child's educational beginning. Enroll your son or daughter at Merry Deb Learning Center in Whitman & Braintree, Massachusetts. Merry-Deb opens at 7:00 am and closes at 6:00pm. We take your child to school (Abington, whitman, Braintree) and pick them up, returning to Merry-Deb.

Our 4 year old son started at Merry Deb in Sept and the progress he as made since is phenomenal. He loves going to Merry Deb; gone are the morning battles to get out the door. His former school didn't have much of a curriculum for pre-K and he has learned so much since he came to Merry Deb. What's more is that he is thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait to show us his school work when we pick him up!
