Kick N Mule Bar & Kitchen

The Cherry Island Mule is my newest favorite cocktail ever! Friendly staff, tasty food (tasty fried green beans and the nachos are amazing). Sometimes they have live music (local band, Crazy Chester, are fun and play great music). Great local sports bar!!

My last Sacramento stop took me to the Kick N Mule with college friend who had suggested the place. If you are looking for burgers, beers, and other bar fare this place was pretty solid!

It was a seat yourself type situation, so we grabbed a 4-top and started off with a couple beers. We ordered the 16oz and the waitress upgraded us to the 23oz just because which was super nice! Her reasoning, 'it's Friday, why not.' No complaints from us lol

In town for work and was looking for a place to watch football and grab a bite to eat. Bar food can be hit or miss but this place is great! They have a really good menu, and I was still a bit sceptical until I got my food. You can tell the kitchen really takes pride in their dishes, and the food was great. Staff is super friendly and there are TV's all over the place so all the games were on. Really impressed by this place, I'll probably come back before I leave town.... Oh and Happy hour all day Sunday, you can't beat that!!

I really need a manager to contact me. I just had the worst customer service experience of my life. I have left this place good reviews in the past and I always enjoy the food but I cannot except the level of disrespect me and my wife had to go through. Please contact me

Good food at a sports bar in an area that as few options. They have covered outdoor seating, so I was able to bring my dog in to watch some football with me, though his focus stayed more on the food

Decent bar and grill, open late in West Sacramento just off Harbor Blvd.
I got the Thai lettuce wraps and they were super good! It was nice to have an option that wasn't the typical hot wings or fried whatever.
I'd definitely check it out again 😋

Had dinner here last night with my boyfriend & watched the chiefs game. Food was super good & the mules were amazing! We started out with the stuffed jalapeños as an appetizer which were sooo good but super super hot so have a drink with you for sure. For drinks we got the strawberry mule. The service was excellent, however I was served the wrong pizza by mistake but because I'm an owner of a restaurant I completely understand how that can happen so I wasn't upset but I was given a free watermelon mule because of the mistake. Came here Sunday evening for all-day happy hour with my husband and two kids.
As we entered, we stood at the podium while a server was there printing off receipts. She NEVER once looked up and acknowledged us. It wasn't until a few minutes later that she looked up and said we could sit wherever we wanted. She had the WORST customer service. Luckily, she wasn't our server. Our server was a younger gentleman and he was great. The kids' sliders took a while to come out along with my husband's beer.
The food was decent bar food. The fried green beans were delicious and the sauce was a bit spicy.

The two grey goose martini were not good. It's my favorite drink but not dry enough like I asked. The Lemon pepper wingers were good. The canjun wings were better!!!

Great food. I had the Cajun Pasta. Everything about it was good. Avery time I come here, the food is better than I was expecting. Portion wise, you get what you pay for. Quality wise, you get more than what you pay for. Everything always tastes so good. They have great consistency. The waitress was very nice, she checked in often but not too often, and service was prompt.

What a fantastic selection of appetizers to choose from!! Lots of vegetarian choices is always a plus! My coworkers and I ordered to share the following:

AMAZING:
-Fried green beans
-Mac and cheese balls
-Potato egg rolls

OKAY:
-Loaded nachos (guac was okay)
-loaded tater tots

MEH:
-mozzarella cheese sticks (cheese not fully melted)
-onion rings (burnt, but edible)

I will definitely be back here, hopefully to dine in. Patio area is super cute!

We love this spot!!! Everybody here is always really nice and the food is actually damn good for a sports bar! We are regulars for sure!!!

The is one of my favorite places to come watch football, UFC fights. The food is great and the bartenders are friendly, fast and the drinks are great. The server Miguel is the best he treats us like family whenever he sees us. Saturdays they have a DJ the atmosphere is very friendly no drama there ever

I was quite disappointed that this establishment is open for dine in during the pandemic. Staff were wearing face coverings, which I appreciate.

I decided to visit to try their Thursday special, Tacos de birria. This was my first time trying this type of taco; therefore, I did not have a comparison. The taco and the dipping sauce was flavorful. The taco shell was still surprisingly crispy and crunchy when I returned home. I did not care for the Spanish rice. It lacked flavor.

Went on a Friday night with my daughter and her cousins. Due to COVID, I didnt really go inside. We sat out on the patio and they had plenty of propane heaters to keep us warm. The staff were very on task keeping dishes cleaned up and making sure people had what we needed.

I didnt order food, but my nephew got some BBQ wings that looked good and later got fries. The fries were good - crispy, firm, and warm. Not too salty but plenty of flavor.

The atmosphere was nice and prices were average. Cool little spot to have a drink and relax. Oh yeah, and there were 2 TVs outside too.

Great staff! Super friendly and helpful can't remember the name of the awesome lady behind the bar but she was so dope and helped us pick out some good drinks and eats!! I will definitely go there again! Food was bomb drinks were strong like what else can a girl ask for ‍

1st time here. Kinda packed for a Wednesday night & only outdoor seating but quickly learned it was music trivia night. Masked up to order food & drinks at the bar then were seated at a table outdoors right next to a giant heater that was perfectly toasty. The appetizers were soo yummy, friendly service, & great music/ fun trivia made for a super fun time! Definitely coming back for more...

What a gem I found in W. Sac! Kinda hard to find in a strip mall, but soooooo worth it!

I have never seen a menu with such a variety-- a good variety for everyone. Bonus! It's all made in house so it's a bit of home cooking.

We went after Cirque so we edged in on the end of happy hour, so we ordered everything to try: fried green beans, mac n cheese balls, chicken wings, loaded tots.

All were yummy, but I wanted more! I ordered the clam chowder and chili to go. Both delicious.

Our waitress came out promptly and gave us menus. She gave us their specials and asked if we had any questions. We made a couple of orders of potato skins and sliders. Everything was delicious!! We enjoyed our snacks.

Maybe not the best choice of lunch place for three old friends (all under 5'3") to meet. Most of the tables are bar stool height. There are a few bench seats with small tables and two regular height tables. We chose a bench seat (remember to step down when leaving) and found there was not quite enough room on the table for all our plates and glasses. It was hard to talk because loud music was blaring and multiple tv's were tuned to sports. It's a sports bar, duh. Anyway, we like to try eating at different places every time we get together.

This place was awesome. The mall it's in may turn you off a bit, but it's very nice inside. I had wings and fish and chips and both were excellent. The happy hour prices are excellent and every variation on a mule I tried was great. My wife had the watermelon mule and loved it. They have tons of TV's with every sport channel available. This is one of my new favorite West sac spots. Fast service and super nice people.
