Not a fan. Alan replaced my switch a few months back at a price that I didn't think was competitive but I didn't know any better at the time. The switch was old but it wasn't even what was wrong. The tank needed to be replaced. After being charged 315 for a 30 dollar switch I decided NOT to hire him to replace my tank. Did research and had it replaced for much lower than his 1600 quote.

HI called on June 9 in the morning and Al was able to come out the same day within a couple of hours. Lakeland Water Pump checked out our well pressure tank and gauge and diagnosed they were functioning so moved outside to the well pump. He Pulled the pump line completely out and found the problem which luckily was not the pump but a hole in a valve . He replaced with a stainless steel valve, checked the whole thing and carefully put it back into the well head. Very reasonable price and excellent work. The well is working great again and the water pressure is back. will definitely Call Lakeland

I recently moved to Sussex County and have never had a well and septic before. Suddenly I noticed my water pressure was falling and I was out of water completely. This morning we noticed low water pressure from our well - Al showed up within 30 minutes of our call, and had the job completed with a well pump replacement that same morning - and this was on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend! Allen took time to diagnose our well issues. And we had a perfect storm of issues. Switch issue, short to the well, short down in the well, bad pump, and a hole in our water line! A nightmare. He was very thorough, and step by step explained what the problems were. Our issues required excavating, which Lakeland doesn't do, so another company came out for that. Allen told us what we'd find, and the other group confirmed everything that Lakeland had done and what they found was that he was correct. He told us what pump he uses. Amazing service, Allan knows his stuff! Around mid-morning I found an issue with one of my water tanks, water leaking everywhere. Didn't know who to call, I searched in Google for companies near Mount Olive and I called Lakeland Water Pump....Allan answered the phone, I explained the situation, he came to my house in less than an hour and fixed the issue. Alan is amazing!!!!! After the most recent storm left the majority of NJ without power I was elated when the power turned back on. Unfortunately my well was not working when everything turned back on. I called Lakeland Water Pump and Alan came out the very next morning. He was on time and very friendly and efficient. He corrected the problems (and there were plenty) with my well pump, put in the new one and was very knowledgeable and let me know exactly what I would need to have done and thankfully he was able to do it for me! Anyone who thinks these people are friendly or helpful must not have talked to the person I did today. When calling to ask about getting an irrigation pump installed I described what I was looking for and got a very curt response asking where I lived followed by asking if it was accessible via truck. This seemed strange to me since I would think most customers wouldn't want a truck in their backyard (particularly for a relatively light pump), so I said no and before I could elaborate I was told they weren't interested in the work and they hung up on me. Isn't it wonderful when you are in the shower covered in soap and your water stops running, especially late in the day on a Friday! This was our first time replacing our well pump and we were a bit nervous about choosing a service. I hired Alan to replace my well pump about three months ago because he had installed the original when this house was built about 15 years ago. Huge mistake! He charged me $2800, and now doesn't want to have anything to do with me when I'm having problems. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I don't know how he has any repeat customers.

Alan Altshuler the owner of this company replaced my well pump a few years ago. The job went well the first time but don't expect him to guarantee the job. My pump which now is about 5 years old failed so I decided to call him back to make the repair keeping in mind that he told me the pump had a pretty good warranty. Off the bat he spoke to me with an attitude after I told him the pump he installed failed. He gave me a ridiculous price of $800 for labor to replace it and this is considering that it was still under warranty which is what a new pump costs. After questioning his price and warranty

I called Lakeland late in the day. My husband was out of town. I was in a new house with three kids in frigid weather with no running water. Due to my schedule conflicts we set an appointment for two days later. Alan called back the same night to trouble shot the problem. He gave me great advice & I was able to fix the problem.
