NO STARS!! Predatory pricing practices of this funeral home were astounding. They wanted to charge over $600 to inter cremains into a plot occupied by the decedent's late husband. George J. Carroll funeral home has offered to do it for FREE. Please avoid this funeral home.

The worst place to take your loved one to in grayson county. The new owners took advantage of my family and treated my family like a dollar sighn. They buying all the funeral homes around here and than charge the outrageous amount for the services. They caught my family off guard and than try to charge us almost $10,000 for the services . My family found another funeral home that charged us 2500 for the SAME services that they were charging us. We went back to find out why is there a HUGE price deference and if they would be able to work with us on the price and the answere was given to us was

This place is a terrible place to take your loved ones, they rob you while your blinded by grief! They are greedy, ungodly people.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life!!! I have never felt more disrespected.. and by a business who's soul purpose is to be there tohelp you through your time of grief. My father was a disabled Vietnam veteran. Since Meadors was local, naturally we contacted them. No exaggeration the first thing that they asked me and my family was if we had insurance and how much it was!! After much discussion and them trying to up sell everything including the kitchen sink. We walked out of there owing them $8500!! My fathers life insurance policy did nit cover the entire cost, this left me and my family

We buried two family members within 6 weeks of each other. We used Meador Funeral Home both times and found them to be very helpful, upfront and honest. The issues we did have were very minor and they fixed them right away. My uncle didn’t like the guy who led the service at my grandmothers funeral so when he passed away unexpectedly they helped us find someone else. Was able to contact them anytime day or night during and after this process and they always replied very quickly. I was impressed. Also I should mention they walked us through casket selection, poems, music etc and were able to work

They wI'll quote you a decent price for your loved ones then gouge you for all you have at the grave side and not allow your to bury your family till you write them the check, right there in the cemetery. They quotedon't someone I know one price to bury their two children then stood there graveside till they wrote them a check for almost double the amount before he allowed their babies to be lowered in the ground
