Fisher Funeral Home was established from the renovation of an existing building located in the heart of Downtown Denison. The vacant building was completely restored both inside and outside to provide a brand new facility for families to fill at home in. Inside, the funeral home offers a warm tone of colors and comfortable seating.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. The first couple of days the home was very helpful. I paid in full for my dad to be cremated. I was told a machine was down it could take up to 10 days. But probably sooner. I called the home twice the only answers I could get is my dad isn’t there. They’ll call back. They did not. 3 weeks later. I find out that my dad was picked up from the home the night he died ! And taken to ut southwest to be studied. Then I was told they had no record I had paid. I was treated extremely bad !!!! I did get my money back. I would not recommend this home.

I recently celebrated my Dads life at Fisher...everything was amazing!! They meet all our needs with no problem. But most of all Mrs. Andrea made the experience so easy..she was moreover a friend than my dad's mortician...I was able to call on her for things that didn't pertain to the funeral and she was always willing to lend an ear or a hug when I needed it. And for that Mrs. Andrea I'm so grateful..you will never know how much the little jesters meant to me. Not only was she there for us..she made my dad look superb!!! I've never saw anyone look like they are just sleeping because they look

Our family had the occasion to celebrate my grandmother's life at Fisher's. Overall, the staff was attentive and provided a beautiful setting for the memorial service; however, the bright spot in the day was Elizabeth's concern for the comfort and well-being of the many family members and friends who were present. Her attention to detail throughout every step of the event made a huge difference in our day. Thank you, Elizabeth!

First, they tried to sell their services to me based on the fact that they’re “about the cheapest in town”. I wasn’t interested in cheap service or price comparisons as I made arrangements. Then, the funeral director is nearly deaf which required me to basically yell as I provided the necessary information. This horrible communication led to them using an incorrect date of birth. Finally, I asked for no obituary to to be placed, but this was done anyway against my wishes and with the wrong date of birth published. All of this made for a very unpleasant experience as I made my way through

I dont think you would find a better funeral service than Fisher. My mom passed away and my cousin referred us in which the owner made it extremely easy. Aside from the ease of doing business and the tremendous service, the cost was more than half of the other places. I would refer them and definitely use them again.
