These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Waldo Funeral Home has a complete funeral facility which includes two state-rooms and a Chapel that can accommodate seating for 150. The Chapel also has a private family area. Waldo Funeral Home offers the Waldo Family Center to all Families. It is used for meals and gatherings either before or after services and can accommodate seating for 50 people.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

My sweet daddy passed away this last week and Waldo Funeral home took care of us like FAMILY. The entire staff was professional, compassionate and extremely thoughtful. While this is a very stressful time for anyone, never once did we feel any pressure while making difficult decisions. I would like to express special thanks to Billy Keene for making me and my mother feel comforted, safe and secure during this process.

Waldo's Funeral Home has been the Funeral Home my family has used for as long as I can remember. The Staff has always gone over and beyond to insure that we received the best service that we could ever ask for. Throughout all these years I have come to think of all the staff as both family and friends. I always enjoy just stopping by to just say hello. They are always so welcoming.
Just last week, we lost our son. As always Waldo's out did themselves again. Tending to every detail to make sure everything was taken care of. And so comforting to my family in this time of need.

First, my family and I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all the staff at Waldo Funeral Home in providing excellent service and showing such compassion to our family during this difficult time with the loss of my mother. We were delighted that our friends and family had the choice to not wear a mask. Our motto was "mask not required hugging was." Thanks for allowing us to celebrate my mom's life the way it should be done. Special thanks to Derek for being such a sincere man and meeting all of our needs in a timely manner. We can't thank you enough. WALDO IS TRULY THE BEST

Years ago my father worked with Waldo FH to pre-plan and pre-pay his funeral. I'm grateful to him and to Waldo FH for this. Joel and Chad were especially helpful with finding a pastor, the flowers and even the obit. With masks and social distancing we honored the life of my father and I could not have been more pleased .

They did a fair job as far as their funeral services...I would rate them 3☆'s if it wasn't for one thing...no one wore a mask...and Sherman is under the state mandate to enforce... I felt very unsafe as a result.
