Replacing vinyl tarps and corrosion inhibiting chemicals, Envelop Protective Covers were designed in conjunction with the U.S. Military to protect weapons, electrical components, optics and equipment from the harshest environments.
These next-generation covers reduce corrosion by up to 90 percent, maintain ambient temperature to within 10 degrees, and have been tested successfully and deployed extensively by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Coast Guard, and Air Force. The US Navy, in FY 2005, contracted to have Envelop Protected Covers produced and delivered for all Mk 38 Mod 1, 25mm gun systems fleet wide.

Envelop Protective Covers have been tested extensively and we're happy to share a sampling of reports that demonstrate the benefits of choosing and using Envelop Covers. Prior to commencement of the study, Shield Technologies Corporation (STC) had the opportunity to brief AFCPC personnel about Envelop Protective Covers technology.
The following chart illustrates how the use of Envelop Protective Covers can save an enormous amount of money over the course of 25 years. Replacing JUST ONE traditional 25MM Gun cover with an Envelop Protective Cover saves you $30,020 by the end of the second year. The savings after 25 years adds up to $374,000 and that's just for one cover.
