At Hillsdale County Medical Care the Life Enrichment team focuses on providing a wide variety of scheduled and spontaneous activities each and every day. As a registered Eden Alternative Home following the practices of its founder Dr. Bill Thomas, we believe that our elders should never face loneliness, helplessness or boredom.
The Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility utilizes the care of doctors from our own neighborhood. We believe that inviting these hometown physicians to care for you or your loved one creates an opportunity to receive a more personalized care experience. We do not employ hospitalists in our facility and often times you or your loved one already see one of our doctors.

Worked there for a little was terminated because a shift supervisor didn’t like me and falsely reported stuff in her letter to the DON. It’s nice that they pay for your schooling but if you don’t catch on quick to your job and or they don’t like you you’re going to be let go before your 60 day probation is up.

Spending a good amount of time here these days visiting my mother. Since her arrived and with the care of a fantastic staff for the most part she has accomplished marked improvement. Very pleased with this place. Also the fact that they are pet friendly and understand how much it means to be able to see and spend time with our four legged friends can mean to the patients there. Must say I look forward to bringing in my therapy and obedience certified dog and see all the smiles and the way that the majority of the patients light up when I do. Only subtracting one star as I have had a few minor issues

Clean facility with friendly staff, many with their own family members as present or past residents. I love the Eden Alternative Concept for long term care facilities, the residents can have a small dog, if they can take care of it, there are cats who live there and a variety of birds and fish. Its a wonderful place to live and work

I did clinicals here through premier medical academy,it was very clean, the residents were taken care of well and the staff was helpful. I like that they have activities and other social events to offer as well. I was offered a job here and just became state certified,I am going to apply! Thanks for the great experience and positivity!
