Alamo Heights Dermatology provides several options for patients who are looking to improve the appearance of their skin. One of the most visible signs of aging is irregular skin tone and pigment. We offer chemical peels and products to improve imperfections whether they are due to sun exposure or melasma (brown patches often due to hormonal factors).
There are a variety of reasons patients may see a dermatologist for a skin surgery. You may have a skin cancer that requires excision, or perhaps you have a benign growth such as a cyst or a lipoma (growth under the skin comprised of fatty tissue) that has become symptomatic or bothersome. It could also be that you have had earrings that have torn through the earlobe.

They are professional, polite and patient focused. The office is exceptionally clean and all the staff are extremely polite. They have been treating me for psoriasis since 2018 and have Done a great job taking care of me
They are always kind and compassionate and I feel like I’m in good hands. They have also taken care of my spouse and done an excellent job!
I highly recommend them and encourage you to check them out for your dermatological needs

A friend highly recommend to this office. I came and not very happy at first. Walk out after a young doctor see me about ten minutes, give me a prescription tell me see you two weeks later. A week later she called back asking have I used the cream? Come on, $90 a small tube is not enough for all over my body itching. She got me a big tube at Costco $16.55 . Using that cream only few day my two years skin problems gone. Telling my customers many they are saying she is good. Who ever need a Dermatologist , this office and ask for young looking female doctor: Michelle Fricke, that’s her.

Terrible experience. I went to Alamo Heights Dermatology for a skin growth near my temple. They performed a biopsy and referred me to a surgeon to have it removed. Covid-19 forced me to relocate, which required a new surgeon in NC. I called and left three messages over the course of a week, and never received a call back. The following week I called multiple times again, and finally received a call back confirming that the referral was sent. So I called the surgeon, and they didn’t receive the referral. So I call back to Alamo Heights Dermatology and am unable to get anyone on the phone. Always

I cannot say enough about Dr. Fridlington and her team. I have been coming to her for years and I drive from Austin which definitely doesn’t have a lack of dermatological offices. But, nobody is as good as Dr. Frid. And I definitely gave some other offices a shot before I found her. Its your face, it’s ok to be a perfectionist, and I would trust no one else. She’s amazing and they really have the latest technology. My skin has never looked as good as it has since I’ve been her patient. Trust me, you’ll be doing yourself a massive favor by going here and here alone.

I've been to countless dermatologists and this place is one of my favorites. I've even recommended them to several friends and family that need help with skin issues or want cosmetic procedures done. They frequently accommodate my last minute appointment requests, and the wait times are minimal. I've been going to this practice for two years now because the staff is so kind and the docs are all wonderful! I also love that the place is run by all female doctors!

For over a year had trouble reaching by phone despite annual checkups, facials, buying their products. The receptionists often refuse to take a message and when they did there was no follow up. When I shared my concern - rather than calling me to discuss, they sent a letter telling me I was no longer their patient just days before my next annual checkup. My family and I are appalled.

I work in the healthcare field, so I feel I sometimes have unrealistic expectations when going to medical offices. With that being said, I have to give the team at Alamo Heights Dermatology the highest of praise! I've seen both doctors and a few PA's and ALWAYS have a great experience. Always. The office is clean, nice and the staff is friendly. I feel like any review that isn't positive has to be related to either personality differences or an off day (for either the staff member or the patient). I just can't imagine any review other than awesome for this practice. I HIGHLY recommend!
