A San Antonio native, Dr. Davis received a B.A. from Yale in 1969. He received his M.D. from the UT Southwestern Medical School in 1973 and completed a dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Medical School. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1977 and served on the academic faculty at UCSF until 1983, when he returned to San Antonio to go into private practice.
Lasers used by dermatologists today play a special role in reducing the appearance of many kinds of scars. There are many different types of scars and different lasers which can help treat them. In our clinic we use three kinds of ablative lasers: fully ablative CO, fractional CO2, and fully ablative ERbium:Yag to improve the appearance of scars on the face and elsewhere.

You may have great looking legs, or at least good looking legs, and you just don't want those fine leg veins to stand out. Sclerotherapy is a time-honored way to eliminate spider veins. We take very thin, fine needles (30, 31, and 32 gauge for those technically savvy), and insert them into the individual veins.

My PCP referred me to Dermatology & Laser Center of SA. I was able to get an appointment the day after my referral was processed. The staff is very professional and kind. PA Amanda was very thorough during the exam and is very knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed. She answered all of my questions and concerns. Michelle was also very sweet and helpful. Dr. Davis came in and met with me as well. The office is clean and organized. I was very pleased with my experience.

Hey Siri I was cared for by physicians assistant Stephanie who took excellent care of me and identified and removed a pre-cancerous mole. I had gone to the clinic for a lump that I thought was concerning. Stephanie assured me that wasn’t a concern but identified this other mole that was a concern and after biopsy turned out to be pre-cancerous. At an appointment shortly there after she removed the complete mole by cutting it out. I was given a local anesthetic and I felt no pain and Stephanie expressed her concern for my comfort throughout the procedure. I cannot thank her enough for helping

My wife and I have been in Dr. Davis's care for several years and would not entrust our dermatology care to anyone else. He shows expertise and professionalism beyond expectations, but he has also captured our hearts with his compassion and expertise for our every need and/or suspicion of need. I recommend Dr. Stephanie Kaiser at this office. I had been seen in New Mexico for this skin issue that no one was able to treat.
