Dr. Carl A. Sakovits is a graduate of the State University of New York, State College of Optometry in New York City. Dr. Carl Sakovits has been providing eye care for over thirty years to residents of the East Bay and beyond from his office at The Bristol County Medical Center. His practice includes routine eye care, treatment of eye diseases, the fitting of contact lenses, and emergency eye care.
Patient education is an important part of our frame and lens selection process. There are more lens designs, lens materials, and lens coatings than ever before. We will never "sell" you something you do not need, but will educate you and help you decide on what lens type best suits your prescription and your lifestyle.
Today we have so many more options to offer our patients with dry eye compared to when Dr. Carl Sakovits entered practice thirty years ago. There have been tremendous advances in research, protocols, products, medications and procedures that finally can be tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
