SQN Tech was started late 2010 by Christopher Esque (SQ) and Kyle Newton (N). Starting a computer repair business was an idea that sparked off their interest in computers, and noticing how they were constantly fixing technology around them for friends, family and neighbors. Mid 2012, Chris transferred to Cal State Chico to pursue his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and is now working as Lead Systems designer for a company in Monterey, CA.

I am so pleased with your Tech Travis. He responded to my phone message yesterday promptly, came to my home when he said he would be here. I can not express how happy I am that he fixed everything to my satisfaction in a very timely manner. My computer is faster, everything is like new again. My Amazon and Apple Account were hacked and I had malware ads constantly invading my MAC computer. I called SQN for someone to come to my house and assist me. Someone contacted me that day (Friday) and set up an appointment for the following Monday. Travis showed up and went straight to work on my computer. Within an hour, all the malware problems were gone and my Amazon and Apple accounts were up and running. The hourly price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

Really, I could not be more pleased with SQN Tech! Kyle has been at my house before to repair a broken laptop. I confess, I broke it, but Kyle fixed it. That was a couple years ago, but my laptop is still my number one, go-to computer here at the house, so I'm thrilled I can still use it. Today, SQN was back to install my new printer. Not only can I print from my laptop, but Travis set it up so I can print from every "electronic" in my house! That sounds silly, but I can print from my phone, and I have been wanting to do that for months! My bad, I should have called SQN sooner

I called SQN on a Sunday and Kyle returned my call that same day. Their business model is to come to your location and fix the problem on the spot, when that's possible. It turned out I didn't need SQN's services and had solved my internet connection issue after 2 long phone calls to Xfinity. I highly recommend Kyle and SQN. They will be the first one I call to the rescue when my next tech "crisis" arises.

Daniel was our tech and he was great. He was timely and professional while taking care of multiple computers. My laptop is running much faster and everything was successfully transferred from an older laptop. I was very impressed with Kyle's ability to expeditiously resolve a gnarly problem with my laptop. I had been attacked by malware, and the cost estimate from the "attacker" was $250 to bring me back online. Kyle's assessment and repair was FAR less than that, and was done within the hour. In addition, I got helpful information to avoid this problem in the future. I highly recommend this service!

I found Kyle several years ago while searching for an in-home computer tech. From day one he has always fixed my issues, which have been numerous. He always has a solution, advice, input and extremely helpful if you don't understand something (which I don't!). I have a limited skill set with fixing problems with my computer. I found Kyle about two years ago based on yelp reviews and have used Kyle for things such as system restoration after a bad a virus invasion, replacement of a failed hard drive, installation of my new wireless router repair of a broken on/off button (I'll never buy HP again) and expansion of memory. I tried to add Windows 10 to my 3.5 year old HP Laptop. I ended up with a blank screen. I called a number of computer repair shops and was told repair costs and reconstruction labor would come close to the cost of a new Laptop. Based on this feedback I purchased a new Laptop from Best Buy for $430. Kyle has restored my faith in his service. I bought a new fan, Kyle installed free of charge. I never checked back in yelp to see if he responded. I learned today when he came to my home to replace the fan, I asked how much do I owe you, he said free, no charge. Then he proceeded to let me know he responded to my comment that I never saw before today. Kyle is absolutely the best in town. He never said one thing about my yelp comment until the very end. First he tried helping me over the phone. When that didn't work we set up a time that worked for me and him to come to my home. He even called telling me he was going to be a few minutes late.
After 2 hours it's good as new.
His prices are beyond fair!!
He's a very competent and engaging person.

I had Kyle come over to replace my laptop screen. He had to fix the back of my laptop, reassemble the new screen and Wi-Fi wires, and reattach the back to the laptop. Unfortunately, the replacement screen I'd ordered off eBay was a dud, and he couldn't get it to work - so my laptop isn't 100% yet. However, he walked me through the process of ordering a screen from a more reliable seller, and showed me how to install the screen myself so he wouldn't have to charge me for labor again. I had Kyle fix my computer a couple of years ago and was pleased. I needed an OS update and other "fixes" about a month ago. He not only helped over the phone but set an appointment time to come over on a Saturday, which ended up being an all day process.
