This "attorney" recently represented one of my close friends. After failing to prevent my friend from being convicted of two flimsy felonies, he then proceeded to recommend that the judge sentence him to 6 months in county. My friend is a local business owner who was protecting his daughter at the time of the "felonies". My friend does not get into trouble. He is a single father. He is not a drug user or an alcoholic. He is a respectable and honest man. This case should've been dismissed, but it proceeded because of attorney Hoppock's incompetence. A jury found my friend guilty, and the state recommend
