Following the death of a loved one, it can be difficult to know how best to proceed. The attorneys at Norton & Abert, P.C. can advise you as executor of an estate, and as the successor trustee of a revocable trust. Being an executor or a trustee is usually a new experience for most people, and anyone in that role would be well advised to seek legal representation at the earliest possible time.
Whether you are planning in advance for the possibility of requiring long-term care, or a family member is suddenly admitted to a nursing home or other facility, it is a good idea to meet with an elder law attorney to review financial options and whether (and when) to apply for Medicaid long-term care assistance.
Howard help us to provide excellent client service and support, such as assisting with the preparation of estate planning documents and with probate, trust administration and similar matters. Elizabeth A. Lysik completes our team with a smile at the front desk. We have a long-held practice of bringing our dogs to work, and on any given day you may see a well-behaved "Paw Partner" greeting clients, playing, or napping.
