I have 11 years of experience and thousands of coaching hours under my belt. I'm also a 42-year-old bisexual woman, an elite powerlifter, a trauma survivor, a strength activist and a dog mom. Atlanta's strength community comes together again this June to raise barbells and funds for the city's homeless LGBTQ+ youth.
For this edition of the Thick Thighs Project we have a Coquetry Clothing leggings review. I got a little help from the team for this one as I interview Team Lis Smash athlete (aka Smasher) Nikki Thomas. She is one of Coquetry's biggest fans and quite honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she's a sales rep jkjkjk she spends her own hard-earned cash on these things.

Years ago I could barely pick up a 20lb dumbbell but Liz taught me that it's okay to be strong. She's amazing to workout with and pushes you to be your best. As a former client of hers I cannot recommend her enough. I've never been in as good of shape as I was than when I was working with her. She rocks.

As a current client of Lis's, I can't recommend her enough--she strikes the right balance between being chockablock full of powerlifting knowledge and insight while also being a very kind and patient coach. I don't consider myself a beginner anymore, but Lis still had tons of great suggestions that I had never thought of to help me get better and stronger, and I can only imagine how much she could help someone new to the sport. Train with Lis--you'll be glad you did!
