Shout out to our awesome management here at Genesis, especially Chelsea and Yvette. I just lost my husband, and was in a horrific mood, and they were so gracious and understanding. They went out of their way to help me, making things so much easier to deal with. I feel very lucky they've put up with me for the past 7 years. The apts are remodeled and beautiful. This is a great place to live.

I moved in to genesis around July 2020. At first glance the property and apartment building seem nice and newly renovated. But the closer you look the more you realize that the management truly doesn’t care about the apartment or tenants. The apartments are dirty and sloppily remodeled. Roaches are infested and black mold is prevalent. There is a constant smell of either food or weed that come from your neighbors. So buying several bottles of febreze a week is a must.

Air vents smell horrible. Raised the rent an astronomical amount. Fixing the pool but no discount on rent while they do. They don't answer the phone. Dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. Ceiling has cracks and looks like it will fall in on us. Gym is small and crowded. Laundry machines do not always work and office won't help fix, they say to call laundry company. Neighbors pit bull always barking and scaring us. Park on highest point because of flooding with rain if your not elevated enough. Garbage is always over flowed and embarrassing.

Other than the cockroaches, ants, loud neighbors, overpriced rent and leasing office that milks you for every penny they can, the place ain't bad.
Situations when I would chose this apartment:
-if I was living in my car
-homeless (the car can be a home for some)
-conducting research on cockroaches
-when I want to be sleep deprived (loud neighbors, remember?)

To start… if i had the option to rate it 0 stars… that’d be the rate. we moved in and shortly realized that the ceiling lights are non existent… we have to use our bathroom light as a main source for lighting… FOR THE WHOLE ROOM!! since wall outlets don’t work, we have no way of plugging anything in… on the plus side… security is GREAT!! we got the cops making rounds every other day! for either domestic disputes or loud and obnoxious neighbors… we also have unwanted roommates in our apartment… by roommates i mean ANTS and COCKROACHES!!! rent is Hilarious…. way too pricey for

This place is terrifying to say the least.
If anyone living here has given this place a good review, they are used to ghetto conditions.
The generic response from Iveth the owner to have me call them, is also a joke. As when i rented there in the past it was nothing but issues with the terrible place. No i will never be calling again. Thank you anyway.

This place is very nice! The property is beautiful, very well kept, and clean. The apartments have a simple and attractive design, and the landscaping only adds to the beauty of this area. The awesome amenities and recent renovations make this a great place to live!
The staff is helpful and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. You can tell that they care about their residents, especially the property manager, Mrs. Iveth Duffie. They foster a warm and professional environment that is welcoming to all.

Do not believe the images or descriptions on their website. All the money was spent to make the leasing office and model unit look nice and inviting. Then money was spent on images for the website.
The main property they have is not good. Nowhere near the image they have created. But, the adjacent properties are far worse. The tenants refuse to keep their own areas and buildings clean and management does not care. Because it wasn't clean or remodeled to begin with; more false advertising and false promises.
It is awful to think that people are being tricked into renting apartments here
