I inquired about an apartment here in April 2021 and created a profile on the company website. Two days later I got a notification that I was approved for the apartment without even applying and that my credit had been checked WITHOUT MY APPROVAL! I tried calling and emailing the office to get it straightened out but never heard anything. I then asked some friends in the area about the place and found no that when the building was under construction there was a hurricane which soaked the frame and the continued building without letting it dry so there is black mold everywhere.

The older white lady (manger) has a bit to much of a nosy nose seeing how she’s always releasing personal information of her tenets to others. I would steer away from this complex

I have lived at The Nolen for four years. Lately, the complex isn't being kept clean. Dog hair in the Lobby, sticky stains on the Lobby floor. Elevator dirty. Parking lot littered with soda bottles, used masks.
ONE OF THE DOORS TO THE COMPLEX DOES NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY. This is a serious Security issue since anyone can walk or drive through the complex. The gates have not been locked for years.
I don't know what's it going to take for the Security Issue to be repaired.
The plus to living here are the apartments are nice, Maintenance requests are taken care of within a day. The location is good

I moved out of The Nolen in 03/2021 and my name was removed from the lease. Since then my ex left the property in 05/2021. I am still receiving monthly water bills for a unit I’m no longer in. I have contacted the billing company and The Nolen staff directly about this every time I get a bill. I just want my name and information removed from the system so that I stop getting bills for an apartment that someone else is in. I also started getting notifications for the mail lockers again to my cell phone this past week.
Hopefully me posting here will get a response and resolution as multiple emails

As a prospective renter, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of responsiveness, lack of preparation, incorrect application fee charge, and an effort made to rent us a unit that was below standard. We were offered a "$99 Look and Lease" but the complex charged us $174.99 for our application. We were being asked to go out of our way to provide many items related to our lease and there was little to no effort from the complex in addressing our problems within a reasonable timeframe. Great maintenance staff. Everything done as needed and as expected. Always helpful and I am treated with respect. Great place to live with everything needed close by. Leasing staff always listens to what I have to say and works to resolve any issue.

From the moment we met with David from the leasing office, we felt like home! He was amazing all throughout the tour and showed us the amenities and even gave us snack in the model apartment. We had one issue in the beginning of AC but maintenance was on it within 15 minutes of letting them know! We love the walkable restaurants and the area in general. Couldn’t be happier with the apartment and staff on hand!!

Matthew & Chad are hands down the best maintenance guys I’ve ever met! I’ve lived in quite a few apartments over the years and I wish every place had guys like them. So helpful & accommodating! Quick to respond to issues and always friendly. My experience at the Nolen has been better because of them!

Great job Nolan maintenance crew Chad, Matthew and Dan. They always respond quickly to any maintenance issues and have very positive attitudes. Also, I was laid up due to illness and all three men transported my new 60" TV to my apartment, removed the old and set up the new unit. I could not have done it myself. Thank you,

Awesome management and maintenance crew. Jessie is always attentive and she knows how to do her job. The maintenance crew are not just “maintenance”. You won’t be wrong if you called them customer service as well.
I called the maintenance guy to ask what I could do about my clothes dryer not drying like it used to. All I did was ask, I did not request a work order. Minutes later Chad and Matt showed up in my apartment and started answering my questions about the dryer while they worked on it. 20 mins later, problem solved.
Apartment complexes are only good if it has a good property manager

I have been very happy living here. I have to say, the entire maintenance staff are outstanding! I am wheelchair bound, and Chad and Matthew fixed a drainage grate outside the front door, that was very bumpy to get over in my chair. They fixed this within 2 days of starting. They didn't have to be asked and a service request wasn't done. They saw a problem and took care of it. Whenever Chad or Matthew see me, they always ask me how I'm doing and if there's anything they can help me with. Dan is the painter. From the very beginning this place has been a nightmare. From move in to now 8 months later to move out. I would give the property 0 stars if it was an option

To start when we moved in the place was dirty human and dog hair everywhere and stains in the bathroom etc. when trying to reach out and get any help after move in it was almost impossible. I've had 15 maybe more emails ignored by the property manager. It was all great and perfect before move in and now after it's basically "good luck"

Second for the first 6 months we moved in the neighbors above us were always loud

I lived her for 14 months and am only moving because of relocation with my job. It has been one of the best apartments I have lived in. The manager Cindy was always so kind and truly made me feel like family. Anytime I saw her, she was saying hello. She knows everyone's names and has such great customer service. The Nolen has always taken great care of me, even down to the maintenance man Jim. I'm truly going to miss these wonderful people.

Dear lord, where to begin. 1. Not a gated community. Gates are permanently open to allow downtown guests to park here. 2. NOISY!!! i can hear kids from two floors down running around their apartment. POOR CONSTRUCTION!! 3. Mold. Mold everywhere. People have had to break leases due to mold. I have reported water damage at least 13 times (I have the emails to prove it!!) and the do nothing. In building C the roof leaks from the 4th floor all the way down to the first floor so all the carpeting smells moldy. 4. Section 8. That's all I say about that. DO NOT MOVE TO THESE GARBAGE APARTMENTS!!

Walls are paper thin
Bugs everywhere
Property smells like piss. But it's mildew.
They have had sooooo much water damage that every building smells like piss.
The manager had threatened me with a law suit regarding my emails so I had to remove her name (melody).
I have attached a ton of pictures and emails regarding the issues

They have now "fixed" the issue but band aiding and caulking the walls. We were the first tennants. It rained last week and it still leaks. But they do NOT care about you or the tenants. They just want to fill up the complex.

The Nolen is a great little community with an amazing staff. I cannot begin to say enough great things about the property manager, Megan. I am pretty shy and my boyfriend deals with many leasing office interactions, but regardless Megan treats us both like we are family. Megan has done everything in her power to help us over the years, even before the complex was open. Though the staff and owners have changed since we moved here, Megan has been a constant source of kindness and support to us whenever we need her! I moved in in March and my dryer has not work since he day I moved in. Sitting puddles of water in my dryer constantly. Can't dry my clothes or else if I leave them in there for more than 30 minutes, they're soaking wet again with a horrible smell. Been contacting the office about this for about 7 months and they say they'll "fix" it but I've given them 7 months to fix it and I'm paying full rent. I know they're waiting for me to move out and not fix the issue. I feel bad for the person that moves in after me

I just uprooted my entire life and moved across the country to be underwhelmed. I chose the place sight unseen due to time constraints, plus the place is brand new. I blame myself for not visiting first.
However.... this is what I've learned in 2 months.

1. The Nolen is noisy. I can hear my neighbors playing their music or when they have people over. Others in the building think it's a frat house and are running through the halls and banging on doors at 3am.

2. The Nolen is not clean. I had my first roach last night. The common areas of the buildings are never vacuumed. My friend

We have had a great experience since we called to inquire about the property and apartment. We signed a lease without seeing the property as we were coming from out of state. We are renting a 2 bedroom apartment and the floor plan is set up really well. It seems more spacious than 1057sq. ft. The modern look is sleek and comfy. We had a few issues but nothing major when we moved in. For example, one of the sinks would not drain but Victor promptly fixed the issue. My only complaint about The cleanliness was/is the cleaning crew did not do the best job vacuuming the carpets. I still find clumps
