I have a Giant eBike which I purchased elsewhere. I have stopped at Old Time a number of times with questions and issues with the bike. Every time they have been more than helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Brian S. and Ted were amazing (and others who helped that I may have missed) working on helping to rebuild my Giant Defy that had to be retired due to a crash. It took some time to get parts -- but in the end I am beyond thrilled with my new bike and their efforts. This is why I buy local and highly recommend Old Town Bike Shop!

I recently purchased a bike from these wonderful folks and have been consistently impressed with the quality of their service. As a former bike mechanic, I found the bike to be impeccably set up right out the door. Their knowledge of accessories and other bike related stuff is really impressive. Finally, they were just kind to work with and made the process super easy. Thanks for being the essence of what a top notch local bike shop should be.

Upside: staff seems knowledgable
Downside: seemed rushed, not the big selection we hoped for. Maybe selling faster right now then they come in.
Comments: If you're bike shopping would at least check them out.

Tim was super helpful with this road bike newbie looking to get new tires. Even talked me through how to change them myself so that I can do it if I ever need to on a ride. Thanks guys for your help! Will definitely be back!

Amazing customer service. I had some issues with my new bike that continued after bringing it back twice to be looked at. They fully refunded me money and were able to get on me onto a new bike even during this shortage of bikes. I would recommend Old Town Bike Shop to anyone looking to buy a bike or have work done.

This shop lost my business on account of the rude and condescending behavior of the service manager. I asked a question about something that I wasn't familiar with, and I got my head ripped off by the service manager. It was as if I was questioning his intelligence. As a manager in working with the community, its your job to educate and provide stellar customer service. Your reputation stinks.

Weird. Unbelievably disrespectful and condescending attitude from service technician/employee during a demo bike rental on September 19, 2019. Don't know his name, but the rental agreement delivery checklist checked-by initials were B.M.S. My brother was visiting from out-of-state. We're both avid MTBers that ride high-end FS carbon fiber mountain bikes. We've rented plenty of demo bikes in the past in Colorado, Arizona, Washington, and British Columbia. I called Old Town on Tejon street and reserved a Pivot Mach 5.5 for a two-day rental at $100/day, which is a fair price for a

Odd interaction. We brought my 4 year old daughter to try out a bike. My daughter immediately jumped on a bike to try out the fit and the salesman immediately said "don't ride that in the store." My husband and I looked at each other confused. Isn't this a bike shop to try out bikes. We obviously weren't going to allow her bike around and run into any bikes. Seemed like they didn't want our business.

Old Town was a good discovery. We got back into bicycling after decades of not being near bikes. We actually acquired our bikes elsewhere, but purchased various other types of gear at Old Town. We've since relied on Old Town for maintenance checks and repairs. The staff seem like die-hard bicyclists, but they also relate to "lightweights" (like us) who bike for recreation. Their repair shop is quite an operation, and has a team of folks available to handle repairs and safety checks. The selection of gear and clothing is good, as is the inventory of bikes.

The store also does a

I recently purchased a new road bike at a large bike shop which has many locations around the country. I put a months worth of riding on the bike and decided to purchase a new rear cassette. I took my bike back to the purchase location and they installed my new cassette and did a "thirty day tune up". The mechanic spun the bike through the gears, and then adjusted the brakes. I told him that the previous mechanic I spoke to said that I would need a longer chain. This mechanic said "you're good".
No charge for the few minutes it took him and that was cool.

Today I rode

Great local bike shop. We've been buying accessories from Old Towne Bike Shop for years, and also have had multiple bikes serviced there for the past 18 years (ours and our kids). Friendly staff, and knowledgeable techs there. The owner even works in the shop and stays active with the customers.

We finally had the opportunity to purchase a pair of expensive Trek eBikes, to keep me in the sport longer despite my health problems. We were able to take a few test rides to determine which would be the best bikes for us, and they even ordered one in for me that I didn't have to buy when it

Service beyond compare! First off, I worked in a bike shop for years before I joined the Army and think I have a decent perspective on the quality of a shop. That said, Brian at Old Town is by far one of the most experienced, kindest, and respectful serviceman I have ever met. I brought in a '94 Bontrager that needed tons of work. I was given an generous estimate along with an intricate explanation of all the things that needed to be done. Not only was the labor done quickly and precisely, Brian was able to come in under the estimate!
I browsed the store a little taking in the accessory

Time and again I find myself in here to get various work done on various road bikes of mine... The staff is usually highly speedy, whether you need a wheel true'd, a dropout inspected, your cassette replaced or like what I had done today; your internal cables replaced; a task that was accomplished in under an hour and accomplished very well. I was actually able to walk out and ride 30 miles after it was done.

I must say I don't buy any gear, components, nutrition snacks or actual bikes from Old Town. IMO They don't keep a huge selection of clothing, and they sell the same nutrition

My husband and I decided to check this place out because it was the closest bike shop to our house. The intent was to look around but we ended up purchasing two mountain bikes, three helmets and a child seat for my bike.

This place is phenomenal. The atmosphere is laid back, yet efficient and professional. Upon entering we were greeted and allowed to wander a bit and poke around before being asked if we needed assistance. I don't like being pounced on as soon as I enter a store, but don't like it when I either can't find help when I need it or feel like a huge bother when I ask

I had a very good experience here getting fitted for my first "real" bike. The staff took the time to get all the parts of my mountain bike adjusted right, helped me find the right shoes, and taught me to ride with clipless pedals in the parking lot. I recommend Old Town for great service.
