Gioia simply means "joy" in Italian. But for us this means so much more than that: it's the core of this business, as we've made it our purpose to bring joy to whoever eats our desserts. This goes beyond baking a simple confection - it's about feeding your souls with what we believe is the best ingredient - Gioia.

Words can't begin how good Casa Gioia is, my personal favorite is the tres leches, which in my opinion is the best tres leches you can find in Miami. But not taking the spotlight off the other desserts on the menu because they are all outstanding. So my recommendation is: leave everything you are doing now and order some sweets from Casa Gioia.

Bought my wedding cake and the tres leche as a dessert for my guests and it was sensational !!! Both the cake and the tres leche were sooo tasteful and so soft. Total success and 100% recommended. I was very excited to be able to receive my cookies and other treats from Casa Gioia utilizing their nationwide shipping. My cookies arrived in 2 days from ordering them online via the website. They came packaged with great care and great instructions on how to warm them up! Canāt wait to order again!

I bought the coconut cake which was ok, too dry for my taste and also for being a dominican cake, the 6 inches is very very small for $40, not worth the price at all. If you want a different cake its fine but if you want a dominican cake like I wanted, go somewhere else. Also they give it to you in a cake container way bigger than the cake is, so not even a good presentation for the amount of money. Now, the alfajores are really good.

This is a hidden gem! We ordered several items for Father's Day (sorry for late review! ) and everyone loved them so much!
The coconut pie is incredible! Everyone was fighting over the last bites. We also ordered the chocolate chip/Nutella cookies and they were delicious. Perfect texture and not overwhelmingly sweet. Lastly we tried the guava polvorones, they were a bit hit also.
Everything was very fresh, I will certainly be ordering again. There's a few other things I want to try. The cookies make great gifts too! Highly recommended!

After salivating over Casa Gioia's Instagram posts for what felt like eons, I FINALLY got to try their delectable pastries for myself! Since I live in Brickell and work Downtown, I rarely ever leave the area which explains why I hadn't experienced Casa Gioia heaven yet. HOWEVER, I learned about their Art Basel pop-up at 19 East Flagler Street which started today and goes through Sunday and just HAD to go. Luckily, the pop-up is just a couple of blocks from my office so I grabbed a friend and dragged her over there with me (because I refuse to engage in gluttony on my own). As soon as

I have not visited this place yet and I am already in lust. Someone brought in a pumpkin pie to the office and I have to say it is THE best pumpkin pie I have had. It was really more like a tart because it was not thick.
The filling was creamy pumpkin goodness that was topped with a thin layer of cinnamon flavored merangue and the crust had bits of pecans in it. It was so good that I went through the garbage to find the box to see where it was from.
Gioia you will be seeing me soon!

My favorite bakery in Miami. It's crazy how good they taste. They use unbleached flour and natural ingredients making everything extra delicious. I recommend the Nutella Cookies, the tarts, Guava Cake, and the Tres Leches. You need to order in advance, and choose pickup or delivery. Friendly staff and great service.

I've always been a fan of the sweeter things and was first introduced to some of Gioia's amazing sweets thru Small Tea in the Gables. They were so delicious and I'd come back over and over again just to pair my teas with yet another treat. On one particular day, I noted a post advertising some pies and a Meet the Baker sesh at the tea spot. There was no doubt in my mind that I needed to be there to try the pies and meet the maker of my sudden obsession.
Mari was undoubtedly the sweetest and nicest person ever. I binged on all her pies in one sitting and it was friendship at first

Where do I even begin? My daughter thinks the rosemary shortbread cookies are the best she's ever tried. In her entire life. If I don't have slices of Casa Gioia Zucchini Bread in my freezer AT ALL TIMES, I break out in a cold sweat and wonder if the sky is falling. The alfajores are... RIDICULOUS, and the owner and her mother are the sweetest, funniest most down to earth people possible. You cannot go wrong, ever. Call them, put in an order, or demo their goods at Small Tea in Coral Gables. You will be so happy you did.

I am notorious amongst my friends for not eating brownies because they taste "eggy" to me. It's super off putting and so I stay away from them. I tried one of Casa Gioia's brownies on a whim and they are the most delicious brownies I've had in all of my life!! So great that I'll drive from waaaaaay down south just to buy some brownies. I cannot explain how amazing these brownies are you have to try them to know what I mean. Amazing, fudgy, chewy, melt in your mouth deliciousness. If there are any left from when I go buy in bulk do yourself a huge favor. Oh and....You
