The Guss, Kassel, Mauser and Sickels families share a common passion - to create wines that express the terroir and share experiences that highlight the natural beauty of the Ramona Valley. Trained in Bordeaux, and considered the pre-eminent winemaker in Mexico, Hugo d'Acosta brings to Milagro a philosophy that mirrors our own; wine should translate the tastes of the land in which its grapes are grown.
Our tale begins with family, blossoms with a love of wine and art, and becomes true with a shared vision for a magical property. In 2014, our families happened upon Milagro, a Ramona Valley estate of sculpted boulders, rich terrain and acres of vineyards. Here was a property rooted in the traditions of classic winemaking, warm tasting room gatherings and inviting orchards; all lovingly cultivated by the Sickels family and winemaker, Jim Hart.
Situated at 2,400' elevation and bathed in Southern California sun, Milagro enjoys warm days and cool nights, an idyllic climate for producing flavorful grapes. Our 110 acres includes drip-irrigated, drought-tolerant vines, with 11 different varietals, an organic farm, abundant fruit and nut orchards and a stunning crush house and wine cave.
As a Milagro wine club member, you receive many benefits including: exclusive access to first tastings of limited production wines, special events, and VIP treatment at our winery. Each year Milagro hand selects an array of wines that showcase the diversity and exceptional quality Milagro has to offer.
It is free to signup for our wine club. The only time we charge your card on file is when your allotment is about to become available, typically 1-2 weeks prior to the release party. We alert you prior to your card being charged and use the card we have on file with your account. Your allotment is typically charged 1-2 weeks prior to the release party (May and November).

Absolutely loved this place! Friendly service with a fun vibe and great music in their large indoor space/ outside patio areas. What we enjoyed the most though were the beautiful views around the property. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun place to spend a nice day.

My husband and I went to Milagro for the first time today. It has easily become our favorite winery in California. Sue, Anna and Alex served us today! They were so personable and friendly. Very knowledgeable about each of the wines. We ended up joining the wine club because of them three! Thank you so much for employing such charismatic people. The scenery was an extra bonus. My husband and I got married here on 10/23. Milagro was the first and only venue my husband and I toured. I saw their website and knew we had to check it out. As soon as we got there we knew it was the place for us. It's an actual fairytale dream venue. The communication was easy, they had excellent recommended vendors (DJ John, and Gayle were AMAZING!) and the entire day went flawless and flowed perfectly. Denise, Hannah, Ashleigh and Julianna were all sweet and made us feel like our wedding was top priority throughout the whole planning process. I'm already planning future anniversary

Came here with my boyfriend for a nice afternoon of wine tasting. The place is really nice and relaxing. They have stylish indoor seating with games and awesome outdoor seating as well. Our waitress was super sweet and very helpful with educating us on the wine profiles. We ended up ordering the flight because we wanted to try a little of everything and we were not disappointed! We had such a blast! Justin was so accommodating from the very beginning. I made last-minute reservations via email and he immediately responded and said that we could come over and spend the afternoon with my family. The place is quaint and very relaxing unlike other big wineries that will rush you out of there and make you feel overwhelmed. I will definitely come back. My family and I visited Milagro winery over Memorial Day weekend. The location is breathtaking, the wine is excellent, and the service was absolute perfection. The tasting room manager, Justin, was very attentive and made it a very memorable experience for our entire family. I would highly recommend this winery.

After our previous wedding venue plans feel through elsewhere because of the pandemic, my wife and I found Milagro and decided to have our ceremony there. This was the best decision we could have made!
Melissa was extremely helpful throughout the process and provided us with homework to help us help Milagro make the our wedding day perfect. There were no miscommunications because of the check-ins and walkthroughs that Melissa was on top of.
Rain was on the forecast and Melissa provided us with the links to vendors for tents which ended up being a lifesaver when it started pouring on the wedding

We were doing our own winery tour of Ramona & this was our first stop.
There is a dirt road heading into the winery but it was pretty smoothed out. Dog friendly. Excellent customer service!
The winery is gorgeous! They had a few tables dispersed among their vineyards which was awesome. We shared a flight & my hunnie really enjoyed their Sweet Vermouth (18%!) so we got a glass of that & walked around their vineyard, so beautiful.

This place was a total life saver! Being the only one available to fit us in for an elopement before the year ended was a God send!
Melissa was extremely helpful, kind, and continued to be available anytime I needed anything! The wine allotment pick up was a great and safe experience. The wines were outstanding . The mulled wine was great, too. And the box lunch from Something Delicious was tasty. I appreciate the staff wearing masks while serving the wine and box lunch. Thanks for seating us at a large table so we could still sit with our friends while still social distancing.

Everyone was spread out had our names on the tables and made us feel very special. Of course the wine is always wonderful and the staff there is exceptional. We have been members of Milagro for about 8 months now, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere, staff, and wines are absolutely wonderful. Whenever we arrive, it feels like the staff has known us forever and that we're old friends. When friends visit, we always bring them here for good wine, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff.

This review took me awhile to write. I am just now getting settled after the wedding. My husband and I were scheduled to get married in May 2020 in Maui, but COVID came and we had to postpone. We decided to have our ceremony in San Diego and have a big reception later (once Covid is done). We had our ceremony at Milagro Winery on August 8th and it was a dream come true. Our family absolutely loves visiting Milargro! the location is stunning! We chose this location for our wedding back in 2015 and the staff and management then and now have the best customer service! Everything about this venue- the nature, the coordinators, the picturesque spots, were perfect. We couldn't have done it without Melissa, Danielle, and Ashleigh. Milagro is one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding venues in San Diego, hands down. The have an amazing ceremony & reception space that feels like it is straight out of Tuscany. We have attended the weddings of several family members and friends at this location and we have also worked with the staff to provide rentals. Whether attending as guests, or working on site as a vendor, the Milagro team has always been incredibly kind, responsive, and pleasant to work with. To top it all off, the wine is amazing and you get to drink it in the coolest wine cave.

Hidden gem out in Ramona. Went here to check out this venue for my friend's wedding. Gorgeous views all around this property. Can be a little confusing finding your way around. However there are arrows pointing you to where you want to go-(tasting room, private event room, parking etc).
They have a little cottage for the bride to get ready in, a cave for the groomsmen. Super cute. Shuttles can take those to the wedding sight/reception.
Roads are somewhat narrow. Parking is tight. Unfortunately there are no hotels on the property.

About a week ago I asked for a tour and the first available tour they could offer was the middle of a Friday afternoon the following week. I went ahead and booked this, as they won't allow you to book without a tour. Yesterday

I need to start this review by saying I know little to nothing about weddings. I have never been a bridesmaid, I've only been to two weddings in all my life. I was so nervous and truly ignorant when it came to planning my own. The team at Milagro was phenomenal, always ready to answer any questions (no matter how silly) I had.
