In addition to careful attention to detail and patient and clear communication, Mohan Singh brings to each home inspection an incredible knowledge of and passion for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Before becoming a home inspector, Mohan worked as a residential energy auditor/advisor for Mass Save, a state-run program that conducts energy assessments and helps Massachusetts residents save money on their monthly energy bills.

Mohan was an absolute delight. This can be such an anxious part of the home buying process but he was so attentive and detailed oriented. He completed our walk through with care and presented the information in a very clear and personable way. He traveled a far distance for us and was happy to do it. We were so appreciative of him and his work, cannot stress enough how he hits the mark on personality and professionalism; he truly cared about my family knowing everything about making a property their home. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mohan was absolutely wonderful. His inspection of the house was extremely thorough and while he was able to help us identify things that needed to be looked into and prioritized without being an alarmist. We're first time homebuyers and he was able to explain everything to us in super basic terms so that we could completely understand everything. Highly recommend Outlook Home!

We hired Mohan for two pre-inspections prior to buying our home. He was incredibly quick to reply to my messages and very good about scheduling and managing expectations. The pre-inspections themselves were incredibly informative - I learned a lot from him during the process, and he was funny and able to explain systems and problems in simple and straightforward manner. Outlook Home Inspection (Mohan) outperformed other inspection companies we’ve used in the past during our home buying process. Mohan is patient, professional, and thorough in his assessments. In addition to issuing a detailed report that covers all issues that he observed during the inspection (ranked by severity and need for repair), he walked through the property with us to show us everything that he noticed. Mohan is very detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and explains things really well. He patiently walked us through every area of the condo starting from the outside and explained all the things we needed to know about the condition of the home. Mohan was an amazing inspector. He spend a great deal of time explaining to us all the important details of how he assessed the property. The inspection report he created was the most in-depth we've ever seen. He used photos to show every issue with the property, and we can now use that report to make sure we hire the correct people to fix the minor issues found with the property. He warned us about some issues that the sellers were trying to pass off as less problematic (i.e. the roof). We have been working our way through the list of items from his report ever since and still find it helpful.
Both our realtor and the seller's realtor jumped to get his business card for their other clients.
He is very responsive to phone and email and was available at short notice.

200% worth the money! Mohan knows his stuff, and takes pride in his work. It was amazing during the inspection, the sheer amount he was able to point out AND explain to us. His style is "bring on the questions" which was especially helpful for us.

We recently bought a new construction home in Watertown and hired Mohan as our inspector. We wound up paying for 2 inspections because of things the builder didn't complete, which we were fine with at the time. We were moving from out of state so we put our trust in him to do a thorough job. But even with TWO inspections we still did our final walk through and found MULTIPLE issues that should have been uncovered during the inspection.
1) a/c fuses weren't installed
2) window in kitchen didn't close or lock properly
3) stain was missing from the floors
4) garage was unfinished

Out of the 100 or so home inspections that I have been at, Mohan was the most professional, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and fast enough to not waste time but slow enough to answer all of my clients questions home inspector. He will be added to the top of my referral list. His background of building knowledge and several certifications in the building industry he mentioned he had makes him one of the top inspectors I've ever met. I'd give him another star because he's funny and makes you feel like you have been friends for years.

I cannot recommend Outlook Home Inspection highly enough. Mohan was knowledgeable, diligent and thorough during the inspection, and also took the time to explain how everything in the house worked (which was very helpful to us). He had the detailed report ready for us later that day, and was very responsive to our follow-up questions and then again when he needed guidance as we negotiated the punch list. I'd give him six stars if Yelp would let me.

Using Outlook Home Inspection was a great experience. I was recommended to them by a friend and was not disappointed. Mohan was extremely thorough & detailed with our inspection and I enjoyed him stopping for teaching points along the way (something I needed as a 1st time home buyer). Other factors:
- He arrives before the scheduled appointment to inspect the outside of the home. Saved us time, but also allowed for some discussion right off the bat
- He left no stone unturned

Was a referral from my realtor for a condo my wife and I are currently in the process of purchasing. Mohan is seriously the best! He is thorough and is happy to field any question you have or explain anything that's unclear. He was at the property before our appointment already doing an exterior inspection. Once we got inside, he looked through every area he could including crawl spaces and attics.
