Jon Haywood was trained as a Home Inspector by the son of the founder of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), who had achieved more than 25,000 inspections. After more than 10 years with that company, Jon left to start his own home inspection business - Greater Boston Home Inspections.

The inspection is a visual examination and analysis of the physical structure and its mechanical components. We provide analysis and inspections of homes, condos, rentals and commercial properties for buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lending institutions.
When it comes to handling the on site inspection, there is no one who is more sensitive to the client. Jon's inspection with solutions approach just wow's the buyer and makes the buyer feel comfortable about making a decision. I am always glad to see Jon at my inspections. It does not make any differance what side of the transaction I am on, I know Jon will not be wasting my time or that of the buyer.
Electronic radon testing is the most accurate and fast way to get radon gas readings. We use the best testing system available - Radalink. These are continuous monitoring machines. We place and retrieve the machine. Neither you nor your broker has to be present. Results are available to your email account within 90 minutes of our retrieval of the machine (except on some weekend placements).
When you make an offer to purchase a house with a private well, perform a test to analyze water quality. Make your contract contingent on obtaining the desired test results. Use a state-certified laboratory, and if you are allowed to draw water samples yourself, be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
