Hi, my name is Emily! In my 15 years of massage therapy practice, I have learned that we each have a beautiful ability to bring restoration and healing to ourselves. During my sessions, I direct my clients inward and encourage everyone to reconnect with their inner wisdom and intelligence, body, spirit, and breath.
Escape To Yoga provides a New Client trial offer - $39 for two weeks unlimited in-person, live online and recorded classes. I'm very new to yoga as I've never done this but I'm very happy with everything I've experienced that Escape to Yoga! I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in trying out yoga.

I am so impressed with all the efforts this studio has gone through during the COVID closure time and through so many changes post closure.
Having vertual classes within days of closure was amazing and the cleanliness and adherence to difficult rules now is so appreciated. I love that they are providing both vertual and a safe studio at this time. It has been such a wonderful peaceful "escape" during COVID!!!

Escape to Yoga is a gem! The studio is gorgeous, and everyone there seems to genuinely love sharing the gifts of yoga. There is great variety of classes and instructors, so whether you're just starting, struggling with physical limitations, or ready for something more challenging, there will be a class for you. Annette and the team did an incredible job pivoting to an online format in response to COVID-19, and continue to generate new and creative ways to adapt to the changing public health landscape. I joined in January thinking I'd do one or two classes per week, but quickly found

My husband and I love Escape To Yoga! We've been going here for years, but not as consistently as we would like to...life gets in the way. Oh, and I love the new studio. It's so peaceful and comfortable. The instructors are wonderful and the everyone is very accepting of all body types, ages and genders.

When life overwhelms and throws curveballs your way, it's wonderful to have a cushioned place to land. This is what Escape for Yoga offered for me. I had been through some life trauma. So much in fact, I wasn't sure if I could or even wanted to go on. And then Annette contacted me and offered me a sanctuary, a place to work out life's struggles, with paint and a brush on the walls of her first studio. Together we sat, and shared the journeys we'd taken as women personally, as business owners, as teachers in yoga and art. Laughter and tears were shared as we designed the mural

I have lived in Sherwood for almost a decade, and decided to try a class or two at Escape to Yoga. I have a painful spine condition, exercise was recommended. I attended the gentle hatha class, and the instructor was made aware of my condition, she guided me, and helped me when I needed it.
The studio is really nice. The floor is springy, the decor is fresh and welcoming, and the mural on the wall is stunning. They have unique products for sale in the lobby, essential oils and a massage room.
I'm so glad that I decided to give this place a try!

I don't do Yoga but my wife does and really enjoys this studio. The most impressive thing about this studio is the way they transformed this old building space into a vibrant and open storefront and studio. The mural is amazing and so is the general ambiance. The storefront sells a number of great products including candles and essential oils as well as blankets and other awesome stuff. Definitely a great place and worth checking out!

I had high hopes for this studio as it is the only one within 20 minutes of me. I really wanted to love it. I tried several classes and was disappointed. The studio itself is kept really chilly. Not an ideal environment for practicing yoga. That along with pushing another business out of their current location in order to grab a 'prime' spot in town just really turned me off totally. Definitely not a very 'yoga' vibe going on at this place. Wouldn't recommend at all. Worth the extra drive to go elsewhere.

Escape to Yoga is pure bliss.
A beautiful environment in all ways, from the atmosphere to the students, to the incredibly amazing teachers. It's one of those hidden gems that you feel so strongly about that you're not sure you want to keep it all to yourself or shout it from the rooftops.
The classes and teachers are diverse in their approaches and styles, which I believe is one of the studio's great strengths. And don't let the small town atmosphere of Sherwood fool you--the quality and creativity of the teachers here will stand up to a big city any day (trust me, I&apos

I love this studio. Today we had an amazing post-Thanksgiving class with the amazing Stacy. I am a beginner but I am really starting to get the hang of it, thanks to the teachers' good instruction and emphasis on your practice being yours, not something you need to compare to others. Supportive, lovely place.

New to yoga and this place is so welcoming! The instructors are all so kind and gentle, and even though I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time I still get a lot out of it. Definitely a great place for newbies and advanced yoga practicers alike. Make sure you take advantage of the $30 for unlimited classes for 30 days special, it's a great way to dip your toe in and see if you like it.

Love this studio... Fallen in love with Vinyassa.. Wonderful eclectic instructors who are all different in style or method, but all experts in the field, and do not hesitate to help you when something you the student is not doing correctly.I have had some major surgeries in my life, shoulders, neurological, and I find yoga to be wonderful for not only healing the body, but the mind too. They have everything from gentle to very rigorous, and interesting side events. I am wanting to try hot yoga, but that is in Tigard from what I understand..

I'm new to yoga and this studio is fantastic. The class sizes are manageable, and the schedule works for those of us who have to wait until after work to practice. Annette is a fantastic teacher for Gentle Hatha. The class is suitable for both beginners and those who have been practicing for little while. She approaches her teaching with a little humor and a lot of caring, and she makes sure that she checks in on everyone throughout the class to help with positioning.
The Restorative class on Sundays is also wonderful. Deep, supported stretches that are held for several minutes helps unwind

This, I believe, is the most beautiful yoga studio I have ever seen. You can see for yourself in the pictures, but it has brick walls, a wood floor, giant windows all around with a soothing view of the pines and one beautiful sunset at the start of my class. The class had good flow, great music, and a level of guidance that was appropriate for the 2 of us in class. The teacher was also very friendly. As an out of towner that flew in for a job interview, I'll definitely head back to this studio if I get the job! The only thing I would change is that I wish hot yoga was an option.

I took a Gentle Yoga class here and it was awesome. It is, hands down, one of the most beautiful places I have ever practiced yoga. I actually got to practice in a ray of sunlight. The class was not intimidating and the the staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming here before I work a couple blocks down in the afternoons.
