The Domicilio is NOT for the faint of heart. We sold our home and were in between homes for 3 months so we rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath home. The service at this community is horrible. The price for the rent is higher than other "luxury" apartments. The term luxury is being use very, very loosely here. You are living amongst mostly spoiled Santa Clara Univeristy students so be prepared to have loud Friday and Saturday nights around the common areas. During our last week here the building alarm went off for no apparent reason without any warnings from management. It was so loud that

My studio apartment had all the looks and amenities of a 4 star location. However, the lack of quality construction and poor sound insulation resulted in constant noise from the upstairs apartment. The noise is so bad that I just decided to break my lease. The leasing office wasn’t direct about this and even proclaimed that the building was “insulated” for sound between apartments upon asking about noise issues when I toured the complex. The building quality leads to my poor review. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to call home, look elsewhere!

I lived in Domicilio for two years and am completely appalled by the new management. Since moving out, I have continued to receive Parcel Pending notifications and charges to my account for failing to collect the packages (that are not mine) despite NOT BEING A RESIDENT FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. I have gone in person to discuss this issue and emailed but it has still continued unresolved. The lack of oversight and complete ineptitude of the staff and new management is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Do not live here.

Beautiful locality and nice amenities. Also, great views on either side. You can see the sunrise while jogging in the morning and witness the lovely sun rays hit the gym in the evening. The lounge area is also very nice and has a theater as well as a dining area that you can reserve for family gatherings. The only negative is the management and their behavior while you're moving out. I think for the high price and maintenance cost, they should take care of the move out procedure and expenses in a more humane way.

It would be great if the community manager "really" feel disappointed especially at the time things happen. Nevertheless, i still try to contact him last month. Cesar knew that I try to call and solve the matter but they wouldnt want to care at all especially when it comes to promise they provide (monetary and non monetary)

Feb/2021 - Been staying in this community for over 8 months now. The layout of the studio is compact and well designed, but the same cannot be said about the noise insulation. Had a bad experience with a hyper active upstairs neighbor. If you are particular about a quite environment, I would suggest to look for other communities..,

Both the management and maintenance team are amaaaazing! Maggie, Cesar and Heidi in the office are extremely timely in their responses and definitely show a great deal of concern for each and every resident. I have high expectations when it comes to the way management handles repairs, concerns and issues surrounding my living quarters... And I can assure you, they go ABOVE AND BEYOND when it comes to solving issues and addressing any concerns you could possibly have. Of all the bad decisions I've made in my life, signing an outrageously overpriced "luxury" apartment lease with Domicilio has got to be one of my worst. Let's get right to it...
The mailing system:
It seems Doms had the right idea to implement Amazon lockers, where mail carriers could safely drop off your packages at a secure location. However, of the many residents that live here, they provide probably about 35 lockers, total. So, when the lockers run out of spaces, mail carriers have to leave them in an open space since there's no where else to put them. Because of this

The best thing about Domicilio is the exceptional maintenance team. I also really like the trees/plants around our complex and the effective parcel service. By far the biggest issue is the lack of pool access. The pool is constantly closed to the point where our rent should be lowered because of it. Of course I understand that repairs need to… occasionally be done, but just one deck issue has caused the pool to be closed over the course of several years, and the closures are weeks to months at a time, during peak summer times (because that's when work can be done) with very poor communication

First of all, my short review would be to request anyone to avoid this apartment complex at alll costs as there are so many other great apartment complexes in the bayarea. Now to the pros and cons of this place.
Pros -
- The maintenance team is one of the best I have come across in many years. They are friendly and want to fix issues quickly. When the refrigerator stopped working, they had it swapped out quickly.
- The facilities like the gym, swimming pool and the lounge are very well maintained. It is a beautiful complex.
Cons -
- The property management team was awful. Nadia was one

-Management schedules community repairs at horrible times. Most recently, they decided to close and begin improvements to the pool in the second week of April - when they had all winter to do so. They give almost no notice to residents in advance for these major inconveniences. Just an email a few days prior.

Domicilio has well maintained facilities including a well stocked gym, elevators for all buildings and a large pool area for swimming and tanning.
Both my friend and I have lived in Domicilio units and whenever we have had a maintenance request, it was fixed on the first attempt by the following business day every time.
The staff is like family and put effort into projects to increase resident morale by catering meals or snacks, throwing pool parties, and other thoughtful activities.

I've lived at Domicilio for 4 years in two different apartments. It's a great location and is close to Caltrain, 101, 880 & 280 and there is a small Safeway right around the corner.
I'll split my review into two sections: Building Management and the Building Complex.
Building Management:
My first 1-2 years were relatively enjoyable while the complex was under the management of Prometheus; I had only a few minor hassles. It has since been taken over by Alliance Residential Company who have demonstrated a lack of experience, professionalism and compassion in nearly all aspects

They offered a competitive rate, nice interior apartment quality, a decent workout facility, and a central location. The community is rather quiet but sound travels pretty easily between apartments, especially between levels. Beyond any complaints that I may have, they have an exceptional front desk staff that is always welcoming and extremely helpful.
In late October they completed a transition into new ownership with new upper management

I like my apartment. Been there 7 years now but if I knew alliance was going to take over I wouldn't have resigned just before they let us know. Bad reviews around for them. Already slow response on repair request Last month I got my bill late so not wanting to be a day late and instead of usual home banking which would have arrived on the 2nd I… tried auto pay. Somehow that got rejected for wrong acct number which i believe happened because the 3 0's in front of my acct# got dropped. I got a notice on the door threatening to post my name around so neighbors could see me as a deadbeat. I

I highly recommend it!
Positives
+ The place is beautiful. The different well maintained plants, the young beauties at the pool, the place is just new/modern.
+ Secure - gated and has security people walking around. I left my door open at many occasions and nothing happened.
+ Excellent response time with service needs
+ The apartment is just nice, every visitor I had always entered with a "oh wow, this place is nice!"
+ The cars in the parking lot are nice, makes you feel like you are visiting a country club
