Love the cozy experience, & the food was delicious! The only complaint is they seemed to have different menus & a few options we wanted weren't available since it was a Spring/Summer menu they gave us. Our friends had different options than us. Also, my steak salad clearly said it included a side dish, yet the waitress said that wasn't so. Besides the confusion, we did enjoy our food.

In years past, I wrote reviews on this place and how much I liked the atmosphere but didn't like the food. I have to say this last time everything was amazing and the only reason I came back was to checkout the upstairs and the Christmas decorations, it did not disappoint. Make sure you make a reservation any day of the week.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Wonderful service, wonderful food. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous at sunset and a great place to spend to celebrate my 21st birthday! Although I had originally wanted to be downstairs to get the food they served there, the "chicken pot pie" gnocchi I had was absolutely divine and was enough for 3 meals! I wasn't the biggest fan of the drink I had (which was an apple pie martini) but it's just because I've realized I don't like martinis. My goodness, SO many nice things to say about this place. Accurate & quick service, friendly attentive staff, appealing decor, top notch food. We may have tried almost everything on the menu - bacon wrapped poppers, lobster & steak stuffed mushrooms, crab rangoon, salibut, chicken & waffles (hands down one of thy best, I've had my fair share). Beer was drinkable - 18th street double IPA, Half Acre, Grapefruit Jungle, and they were out of the Hazy (boo). Let's just say I'm dying to return for my next fix, lol. Kudos to the cook. I hope my next experience is as good as

Been wanting to try out stacks for a long time! Finally got the chance too for my sons 11th bday! Took my family of 6 and everyone loved the food and ambiance! Service was really good also. Very generous portions and good prices! Long wait on weekends so prepare ahead of time. Cant wait to go back and experience to rooftop!

One of the most beautiful restaurant/bars located in the heart and epicenter, of downtown Valparaiso Indiana. The interior will stun you with multi level book shelf’s wrapping around the stairs like something out of Harry Potter. The rooftop feels like your on the 4th floor with a great view of court house and amphitheater. Awesome drinks and food as well.

This restaurant has two menus. A rooftop and a main level. We made reservations not knowing this. We were gathering for a special occasion. We have a son that is under 21 so we had to make a main floor reservation. After looking at the main level menu, it is underwhelming. We could not get any of the meals from the rooftop menu (which is more of what we expected). Honestly, if I wanted a burger for a special occasion, I could have gone to any one of the pubs / bars and casual dining restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, we are sort of stuck as I can't get a reservation anywhere else at this

We went there last night for my husband's birthday! We tried to make reservations for 7 but were unsuccessful- so we walked in early like 4:15ish! We got sat right away!! Our server Elyse was fabulous, my autistic child ordered a sprite and during appetizers I asked Elyse for some cherries to put in her sprite! She did even better she brought her a wonderful kiddie cocktail with a fancy flamingo straw!! Made her day!! Ok now for the food- we all ordered something different so all of us could try each other's dishes! Everything was so flavorful and delicious!! We loved our experience

Went here for am impromptu dinner date and had the wonderful opportunity of sitting at the rooftop. There was a pop up event, and it did not disappoint. Yes, the meal was pricey, but the quality and deliciousness of the product, the atmosphere, and the live music mad it all worth it. It was a great night out and the staff were so nice. Great date night place, will come again.

The most amazing part of stacks has to be the rooftop (21+) and the beautiful indoor stairway going up to it. No bar in town can match how unique Stacks is.
The drinks here are quite good- but very strong. I would recommend white moscato for a new drinker who wants to try this bar out.
The food menu as well has a wide variety of food for customers to choose from. A group favorite I normally get with friends is breadsticks and marinara sauce. The breadsticks are cooked relatively well and there's enough to share with everyone.

This place had an amazing Osso Bucco. It was served with asparagus and mashed potatoes and the piece of slow cooked pork was soooo good. You can have zero hesitation when you order it. The pork was incredibly tender and the mashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to it.
I also got spinach artichoke dip and was really impressed with the portion for $8 -- huge and filling and a great appetizer to enjoy! Highly recommend this place!

I love this place. This place is definitely not artery friendly but its a dance party in my mouth.
Honestly one of the best in Valpo. Like I said not healthy at all. If you want to feed your inner fatty then this is your place.
Everything I have had from this place is just delicious.
The drinks are spectacular as well.
