Services
Killingworth Nursery School Association is a non-profit nursery school providing fun and exciting learning experience for children age three to five. It is the goal of the Killingworth Nursery School to foster a love for learning and prepare its students both academically and socially for Kindergarten and beyond.
Preschool classes for three and four year olds are available two or three days a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We also offer the option of "Extended hours" that extend the day to 1:00 PM (children bring a lunch for extended hours.) Families may choose what they feel works best for their child.
Our Terrific Tots program is available one day a week for two year olds and a parent or caregiver. Classes are held on Mondays or Wednesdays, based on the preference of families, (10 week session/3 sessions per year) from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. This is a great transition for young children in preparation for pre-school.
Classes for our four year olds are available three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We also offer the option of "Extended hours" that extend the day to 1:00 PM, (children bring a lunch for extended hours.) Added to our current four year old program is a pre-kindergarten enrichment "Fours Fridays."
Our teaching staff consists of warm, patient, caring educators who express creativity and professionalism with children and parents. Readily available to the entire family, we are here offering support and information through informal telephone contact and email. Erin joined the staff at the Killingworth Nursery School in 2002 as a Tots Coordinator and Teacher.
