Services
There are different types of marine lifts for boats, pontoons, jet skis, and other watercraft. Choosing your boat lift doesn't have to be complicated. We are happy to collaborate with you to design a boat lift setup which meets your needs. We will assist you in selecting the correct lift which safely supports your craft; and make sure that there is minimum affect to an existing boat dock or mooring environment.
In South West Florida most boat docks are built in a similar manner as traditional land based decks. They have the same beams, joists and decking, as well as weight distribution. We will build you a boat dock that can complement any requirement or desire you have and serve functionally for the years to come.
Above Board Marine builds custom boat docks and installs boat lifts, as well as completing nautical landscaping to tie your theme throughout your property. We coordinate on your behalf with County agencies, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the Army Corps of Engineers for all appropriate permitting, environmental clearances and inspections.

Our dock is absolutely beautiful! Scott and Maryann, along with their crew, Chris, Logan, Dave, and Mike were such a great group of people to work with. Their professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail was outstanding! We enjoyed having the crew here and watching the daily progress as well as understanding how they build a dock. They go above and beyond with the quality of the material and attention to detail. We love the finished product and will enjoy our dock for many years to come. Scott, Maryann and their crew (Jason, Logan, Shawn, Ben) were absolutely a pleasure to work with on our new/replacement dock. I was on the phone the morning after hurricane ETA (Nov. ‘20) made a mess of our 35 year old dock. Scott promptly came out and gave us an estimate. Since quite a few docks in the area were compromised, I was given a time estimate when ABM could get to the build. I was Ok with the timing and in the end, the dock was completed on time and on the price that was quoted. I recently upgraded to a larger boat and as a result needed to upgrade to a larger lift. I wanted to do it right and spent weeks researching companies, cost, and lifts. I live in South Gulf Cove. I wish Scott and MaryAnn were the builders of my house instead of just my dock /lift because they were professional, meticulous, timely and offered great advice! Bids from two other companies: one that wouldn't answer questions concerning their product or the details and one that wanted 30% down before doing anything! Above Board Marine just finished completely rebuilding my dock. First let first let me say that Scott and Maryann are great people and a pleasure to do business with! Them and their crew professional, attentive to details, helpful, etc etc.... They are just nice people that do great work.... and they were priced less than the other larger dock companies that I got prices from. If you need dock work done.... Do yourself a favor and call these folks. Great work and prices!!! I would highly recommend these folks!!!

I am a very picky, fussy customer and they worked with my demands for exact pile placement until we got it how I wanted it. You can't do better than these guys, and the price was right, too!
