Tortilla Flats has been an institution for over forty years. Cheryl Marquez, who passed away in 2019, created a unique cuisine that blends the fire of Mexico with the subtelty of France. We are serving Mexican cuisine on or heated patio and food and drink for take out. Take out hours are Tuesday -Thursday 12-8:30 and Friday and Saturday: 12-9 Sunday 12 -8:30.
Services
A mild green chile filled with Monterey Jack cheese, then coated with a fluffy egg batter and lightly fried. Served with a mild Ranchero sauce and topped with melted cheese. Served with rice and beans. Tender, marinated, thinly sliced skirt steak, grilled Southwest style, served with rice and beans.

Stopped by here after camping for some more substantial food. Tortilla Flats did not disappoint! All the food was really good with large portions, and the margaritas were strong. Would definitely come here again when in the area.

Food was ok. Service was terrible. No one checked in on how we were doing to ask for things. We had to beg for a to go box and the check. Hardly anyone in there. Would not go back.

This restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience. It's warm and clean and it feels good to be in the restaurant. Except for the calamari - super tiny little circles of calamari that they manage to get an incredible amount of some kind of unpalatable breading around and then deep fry, the food is good. They did not offer to take the calamari off the bill when I told him that it wasn't good.
The price point is high for a Mexican restaurant. The peanut mole. Enchiladas and Rellenos are quite good. Their cocktails are pricey at an average of $15 per cocktail but not out of sink with the specialty

I go here once a month (at least) with my mom. Tortilla flats has the best margaritas! Their red pepper enchiladas are our favorite - their nachos are amazing as well. It’s pricy for sure, but definitely delicious and worth it. We always have great waiters and waitresses. One thing I don’t recommend is their beans and rice because it isn’t that great. But other than that we love them and love to support our local businesses.

For decades I have loved this restaurant and in recent months I have been astounded by loving it even more..
When a restaurant is under new ownership, often the quality then the quality takes a dip down but that has not been the case with Tortilla Flats! It still has the same wonderful ambiance call it's, the same wonderful salsa is salsa, comma wonderful service and super delicious food.We love everything we order, especially the flatland tacos! I wish I could buy a tub of it to take home!
The only thing that would make it better would be if there were no eggs in their desserts (or the Chile

INCONSISTENT.
I read a review of this place from a few months ago, before I started writing this. My take away from that review and my experience this past weekend is that the place suffers mainly from inconsistency.
We too were a party of six. We also sat on the back patio. The weather was fantastic so the idea of eating outside was appealing.
And to be honest that and the company (family) was the best thing about this establishment.
Upon arriving we encountered a couple of ladies who swore by the Margaritas. So we ordered a couple of pitchers. What a disappointment. $50 per pitcher was the

They accommodated our party of 6 on the back patio, which was nice. Had outdoor heaters. Complimentary chips and salsa was nice. Salsa was rather bland. Our waitress was very friendly. Ordered a round of waters, one of which came with no ice for some reason, and 4 margaritas. One margarita was supposed to be a frozen strawberry with salt on the rim, we received a frozen mango with no salt. Another was supposed to be a mango with no salt, was delivered with salt, and mixed very strong with a low quality tequila. The 3rd was fine and the 4th was forgotten. 2 of us ordered the seafood burrito special

Love a place that has vegan options, and clearly defined too. And the gentleman that waited on us even doubled checked because their guacamole has a little bit of sour cream added in, so no guacamole for us. You know you’re at a place that 1) knows their menu and ingredients and 2) cares about peoples restrictions when they double check things like that. This place is so cute and quaint inside. Friendly, fast, and excellent service. The tofu marinade is slightly sweet, the flatwood protein has a nutty taste and texture. We had one super burrito of each, and they were both delicious and full of

Pricy for moderate portions but good quality. Exceptionally prepared classic Margaritas with fresh squeezed lime juice...no cheap bottled mix, thank goodness. Would recommend a return, maybe to try Tapas menu. The pic is pork enchilada and chile relleno. Good but not exceptional.
