George Hunyadi started Innovative Organics Recycling in 2016 with a mission of achieving Zero Food Waste in the Central Ohio region by working closely with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders to provide the tools, knowledge, and infrastructure to reduce food-waste in our city.

Innovative Organics Recycling provides food waste recycling services to festivals, school events, weddings, birthday bashes, and events of all kinds whose planners want to reduce or eliminate organic waste. Our services are tailored to your event so you can reduce food waste. Innovative Organics Recycling performs a free assessment to determine how we can help your event reduce food waste.
We work with local nonprofits, area grocers, schools, and businesses to provide individuals with the knowledge and tools to help them reduce waste. Whether you're a second-grade teacher who wants a 20 minute lesson on the art of composting or an event planner who's designing a two-hour workshop on zero-waste living, we are at your service.
Innovative Organics Recycling's compost is perfect for hobby gardeners and large-scale farmers alike. For every 100 square feet you'll need 1 cubic yard - if you lay the compost about 3-inches thick. Pickup & Pay at our Facility - located at 2121 Integrity Drive South - just off Alum Creek Dr. on the east side.
