Having my mom Sarah at Desert Gardens was the best decision we made for her. They are like family and took very great care of my mom. Personality's are awesome! Sadly my mom passed May 3rd but the care and love she received was more than I could have asked for. Highly recommend them! And I will miss seeing them! Love them all!!

If you're reading this review, you have already discovered that finding the right place for a loved one to live and receive adequate care can be nerve racking. Making big decisions for someone else can cause a lot of second-guessing oneself. That's how it was for my siblings and me as we tried to shepherd our mother through her progressing dementia, searching for a "home" that's not too restrictive today but will offer enough care and structure for tomorrow. Facing a terribly stressful decision to place one’s loved one in assisted living is made almost painless by the wonderful staff at Desert Gardens. I had researched and toured several places. After one such tour I sat in my car and cried. The alternatives out there range from just ok to downright depressing. Until I toured Desert Gardens. For years I have been making house calls to assisted living facilities. I recently visited the Desert Gardens Assisted Living .
Truthfully I have never been so impressed with a facility as much as I was with this one.
Upon entering I immediately felt the positive and welcoming attitude of the staff.
The facility presents with an ambiance of being very happy, bright, and relaxing.The cleanliness is superb. The back porch is very comforting and the artificial turf is very easy to walk on. From the backyard clients have amazing views coupled with a feeling of peacefulness.
I would highly recommend

Desert Gardens Assisted living and memory care is home for Dad and a very special place. This home is beautiful from every little detail inside the house to the peaceful, spectacular views in the backyard. I cannot recommend Desert Gardens Assisted Living highly enough. While the community is new to Tucson, the management is well-known and highly respected amongst her peers in the Tucson senior care industry. The philosophy on which the facility operates is outstanding, and I am sure will be very beneficial to not only the residents, but the staff as well. The facility is gorgeous and I have no doubt in my mind it will fill to capacity quickly. If you are searching for competent, welll-trained and friendly staff to care for yourself, a loved one or a client, LOOK NO FURTHER!

After having visited a number of care homes and feeling distraught, I walked into Desert Gardens with an immediate feeling of euphoria! It is a beautiful bright and airy environment, with the most remarkable staff. The attention and engagement given to the residents is more than I imagined. The Administrator, Robin, immediately allayed my “fears” of assisted living.
