Services
We are heavily staffed with a 5:1 resident to care staff ratio. We want our staff to have additional time to spend with each resident, to hear their stories, learn what makes them special and spend quality time reminiscing. Our residents aren't just a room number- We can train someone how to properly provide care, but we can't train someone how to be compassionate.
We have a full calendar of activities from relaxing to invigorating, addressing the needs of mind, body, and all the senses. From our wonderful musicians and storytellers to pet therapy and Expression Art Studio, we are grateful to be able to offer such a rich program to our residents. What is life without activity and purpose?
Our bodies require optimal nutritional support to thrive and be healthy, particularly those who are elderly and combating life's obstacles. Our menu is a combination of whole, fresh foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fresh fish and meats, that are skillfully prepared and presented on site in an array of colors, textures, and flavors.
Choosing to place a loved one into assisted living is a difficult decision. We want to help make this as easy of a transition as possible by providing as much information and knowledge to our family members as possible. Supervisory Level: This level of care is the lowest. We provide standby assistance or assistance only as needed.

This community is just what I was searching for but thought I wouldn't find. It is Goldilocks, not too big and not too small but just right! It has lovely grounds and lovelier people. The service from Mattie, Laahna and Jackie has been above and beyond. We've had a few delays and complications on our end but the team and especially Mattie has always been understanding and helpful. Often she's had a suggestion to offer or referrals that could help, she really seems connected. Everyone thought I Was dying. Everyone except my family and Fairmount employees. They saved my life. While in my hallucinations and delusions I remember the staff members talking with me and holding my hands telling me “you don’t have to die” I swear that was my turn around to recovery. I am now my old self and will be going home, yes going home... in just 6 days.
The staff here at Fairmount are loving and touch my soul as I see them interact with the other residents that live here. Each day the employees come with a smile and take a personal responsibility in caring for the residents.

My dad moved into this place last month from a very small private care home and so far Fairmount has exceeded all our expectations. The place is clean and the staff is not just friendly but also very caring. Mattie and all staff are compassionate and treat the residents and family like family from day one.
They have gone above and beyond to accommodate and make my dad and me feel welcome and comfortable.

I have been working with Fairmount for three years now! Wow! Time sure does fly , since I have been here I have held many different titles. Most recently I have become the Business Manager. I love all of the residents and staff. Mattie and Steve have been good to all of their staff and hold a special bond with all the residents that reside here. I could not ask for a better home!

Fairmount has truly been a godsend for me. My wife has been a resident there for almost 3 months and the care and attention she receives could not be better. The staff has really been amazing from the caregivers, nurse and the owners. Everyone is involved in seeing to it that care given is compassionate, professional and caring. Thank you to all.

My parents lived at Fairmount for about 5 years in Rook House. It has a nice homey feel. They were able to have a nice room together. My parents enjoyed the yard and patio area. I can't say enough about Fairmount, the caretakers were caring and kind to my parents. We were lucky to find this home for my parents to live out their final years.

My mother lived at Fairmount for the last year of her life. I had planned on her always living with me, but there came a time when that situation was no longer possible at home to provide her with a safe environment – so we made the very difficult decision to move to Fairmount.
Due to its proximity to us, my brother, niece and myself were daily visitors at different times of the day and night for a year.
