The Children's Skin Center offers our patients the best treatments available in a family-friendly atmosphere. We are committed to offering our patients the latest medications and state-of-the-art technology for the treatment of skin disorders in infants, children, and adults. Dr. Ana M. Duarte is board certified in both dermatology and pediatric dermatology, one of only a few elite dermatologist who can claim this distinction.

The Children's Skin Center (CSC) has provided kid-friendly, family-centered dermatology in South Florida under the direction of board-certified pediatric dermatologist and dermatologist Dr. Ana M. Duarte since 1995. At CSC, we treat skin disorders in infants, children, and adults, offering families the latest medications and state-of-the-art technology in a comforting family atmosphere.
Ana M. Duarte, MD is the Chief and Director of the Children's Skin Center. Dr. Duarte is board certified in both dermatology and pediatric dermatology. She is also fellowship trained in pediatric dermatology, one of only a few elite dermatologists who can claim this distinction. Dr. Duarte treats all skin conditions and disorders, while specializing in treating vascular birthmarks and tumors, hemangiomas, and port wine stains.
Board certified, Fellowship trained Dermatologist Dr. Andleeb Usmani joined the Children's Skin Center in 2010. Dr. Usmani is skilled in all aspects of dermatology, from photodynamic therapy for pre-skin cancer and acne, to skin cancer surgery.
Dr. Usmani and her staff are committed to educating patients and families about the importance of sun safety, developing comprehensive care plans to help repair existing damage and prevent future skin damage.In addition to general dermatology treatments and skin cancer screenings, Dr. Usmani also offers laser skin resurfacing, laser hair removal, stretch mark reduction, and cosmetic treatments including Botox, Dysport, and Restylane injections.

I trusted my kid with this doctor for years and it ended up that we only saw a medical assistant (not a medical doctor) who would see us for a simple skin condition to be treated with a simple cream, never saw Dr. Duarte for years or any other medical doctor for that matter on visits. Until one day a medical assistant on duty convinced me a mole must be removed from my precious child, I explained that mole is a small birth mark that runs in my family, I even showed it on my own body in the exact same place, my father had it and my cousins too almost in the exact same place and throughput my close

Three months ago I called for an appointment with Dr. Duarte. Out of all the board certified dermatologist in South Florida this was the earliest appointment I could get. I traveled out of the county and up early for my daughter’s appointment to only be seen by a PA. How unprofessional to not even contact me to let me know the doctor would not be in. I’m thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. The PA was rude and mocking organic products. I will never let anyone I know attend this practice. What a joke and a waste of time!!

Dr. Duarte and Michelle Machin are terrific professionals who show they deeply care for the children and families they provide medical care. They go above and beyond, with compassion and expertise, and deliver excellent attention, service and support. We have always been extremely pleased with the Children's Skin Center and the tremendous help from Michelle and Dr. Duarte in caring for the needs of our children and being there for us as concerned parents who want the best for our kids.

Our family feels so blessed to live in south Florida and be in the care of Dr. Duarte and her staff. Our daughter has a bilateral port wine stain and has been getting pulse dye laser treatments since she was 18 months old. During this time, she and her staff have been immensely supportive and provided not only thorough care for our daughter, but excellent customer service. Her office manager Michelle Machin is patient, organized, and exceptionally warm. You and your child never feel like a number to them, you are a person with whom they develop a relationship.

I’m revising my review. At first I was unhappy with Dr. Duarte, but today I have nothing but love for her. She is amazing with my sons acne. He’s improved 85% and she has helped me with my rosacea. She’s very kind and personable and her staff is great as well. I highly recommend her with my eyes closed. She will be my dermatologist for life.

Dr. Duarte did a great job with my daughter's first visit there. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner, very professional. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great, specially Alegny Vidal who was extremely helpful and supportive. It’s rare to find a doctor like Dr. Duarte that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I had a wonderful experience with Children's Skin Center and Dr. Ana Duarte. I highly recommend her. Thanks!!!!
