Dr. Kibert Kato was born and raised in Mililani, Hawaii. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Zoology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he graduated from the prestigious Pacific University College of Optometry in 2000. Dr. Kato founded Family Vision Care in 2002, so that he could provide the best one on one care to all of his patients.
Dr. Kato is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Hawaii Optometric Association. Dr. Sheri Kozohara (Office Manager) was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she graduated from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2000.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Kato. He is the most personable and caring doctor I have ever seen. I have been his patient for several years. He takes time to make sure you understand everything and answers all your questions.

I've been coming to see Dr. Kato for a few years now and it's always a nice visit. He's really friendly and it's always a good visit. His staff are really nice and are always helpful. They also send reminder emails to me when I've overdue for a check up. They are also open on Saturday's which is great for me, since I work in town. They also email you if they have any promos on glasses or contacts.
